The cooldowns are both refreshed but if you use the same one again, the initial minions die and you respawn them upon use. But using the other book after refreah will cause the first set to be kept. | ||

Imagine it. 3 x Necrobook + 2 x Refresher + ??? Lothars? Desolator? Dunno about the last slow. I want to say deso because of -armor but lothars is more suvivable given you'll have virtually no offensive items. Six necro creeps plus your treants. Try holding back THAT push. | ||

But I'm pretty sure if you had 2 mantas on tinker in WC3 DotA, you got 4 illusion if you manta (both go on cooldown) -> rearm -> second manta. | ||

The problem with Lycan is that a refresher, with the exception of using necro twice, isn't that useful on him. Not compared to the cost and what you could be getting instead. While a refresher on invoker is already core due to being able to do either a 6 spell combo and/or simply use your 10 spells twice in a fight, which is huge. And going necro on him is really powerful combined with 4-0-4-1 where you get out an early dual forge spirits and just chainstun the enemy to death with coldsnap. | ||
