He already has high natural armor, I don't think he needs it on top of having a late game butterfly and satanic. BKB is also not always a neccesity on CK, I feel. If there's a lot of aoe stun on the enemy team then I question why you picked CK because those just completely annihilate his ult illusions, which are the main source of dps. On the topic of Skadi vs Heart: I think it's a p good question, I thought about it recently as well. Its benefits compared to heart are as follows: I think it slightly improves the dps of your illusions (depends on how much attack speed you(r illusions) already have) as compared to heart. It gives you and your illusions more EHP as compared to heart because of +Agi. But usually that what's killing your illusions isn't physical dps, it's usually magic damage (stuns whatever) or something obscure like (tiny) cleave damage, which is not reduced by armor anyway. So I feel like just improving the total HP pool of your illusions works better. kind of the same reasoning with meepo reaver stacking. It gives you the slow orb. Well CK is already fairly hard to kite due to rift, and the -attack speed seems kinda pointless when his ult is up as well because most enemy carries should be melting anyway if they try to manfight you with ult up. And it gives you the +int. Lvl 25 CK has 850~ or so mana without items. Skadi gives like 600+ mana. I dunno it seems kinda excessive to me if you have a couple of supports with arcane boots, but I guess you could use it for that. They seem pretty interchangeable tho, after 1 heart its a possibility i guess, if you have any slots left. Something like Treads (latelate game travels obv.) Butterfly Heart Manta seem like pretty go to, to me Then you have like 2 slots left for situational items, which could be things like MKB, BKB, whatever. | ||

I was around when League came out with ranked. There was a while where people would intentionally troll ranked games and goof around, but such activity was chastised hard enough that people stopped doing it at anywhere near the frequency of unranked games (And people didn't yell -that- much about dumb/fun play in normal games). The point isn't "People aren't going to troll and are only going to play seriously in Dota 2 ranked", the point is "More people will be playing 'tryhard' dota on a ranked ladder than elsewhere, because the community and atmosphere will lambaste anything that doesn't seem like a competitively viable playstyle" Doesn't mean people will be wrong or that the quality of game is guaranteed to be better, it just means that in your ranked games the chance of all 10 people actually trying will be higher than your normal games. | ||
