The main advantages for Phase in general are better laning (which QoP doesn't need since she wins most matchups anyway) and mobility, for which QoP already has Blink for. Treads on the other hand are pretty good because it's your only early source of HP when you go for a fast Orchids (as is common), gives you some nice attack speed, and allows you to Tread-switch when using Bottle.

Time to super tryhard, I guess. You get treads, because you need bottle on qop. Bottle and Treads is a match made in heaven. <3

This will be sorted out eventually, just like in League. If you fuck up games in ranked by building stupid stuff or playing stupid heroes you will get reported into oblivion. I only played Gold/Lower Plat in League but usually this stuff happens very rarely. People get very angry when this happens.

Except this is not League and you can win by playing something other than selected few heroes and items. Also, reporting for "not playing normally/serious" does a total amount of absolutely nothing.

Also, reporting for "not playing normally/serious" does a total amount of absolutely nothing. That's obvious. But you said "People will still fuck around in it just as much as they do now". Since history told us that both the League and Dota community are not different at all I expect the Dota community to react exactly the same as League people when it comes to their precious ranking. The ladder will be more toxic and I can guarantee you that people will report and flame if you last pick Drow or go Dagon first with Riki because "for the lulz". And why should reports don't matter? If 4 teammates report you for intentional feeding you will land in LPQ and be excluded from ranking until you play five(!) games in LPQ. I doubt you can get away with trollpicks in ranked mode but I could be wrong maybe the Dota community is more mature, lol.

Its got a really step learning curve, hence the low win rate, but it is so absurdly strong once you learn how to play it. It raises a interesting question on balance, how do you balance a hero that is super weak at low skill level but absurdly strong at high level play.

You should always balance around the highest level of play.

I was not able to get any levels, and there was no way out ![]()

The whole hero is based around hard to land but high impact skills, which means kicking you onto unpathable is meant to be possible, although that will given the pudge or venge treatment of letting you move from unpathable if you react in time. Until then just gotta hope someone on your team picks that hero.
