Why are people so ignorant? In what way does he as a person benefit from the traffic? It's the other way around. People, maybe not the casual part of the TL community who visits this thread, wants some kind of rating. The guy behind this site is clearly very smart and if his 65% are correct (why should he lie? more traffic lel) his method is solid. Maybe even more solid than any ELO based rating.

As I said, I think the whole site was a joke that people took too seriously the first time around, and gets funnier as people still take progressively more ridiculous and trolly iterations seriously.

If all his ML algorithm is doing is trying to classify matches as pro or not pro and the ratings are just derived from uncertainty because it can't perfectly say whether a match is pro or not, then how is what DSR is measuring any different than Normal, High, and Very High brackets? If anything, it seems strictly worse, because rather than partitioning games into 3 brackets, it partitions them into just two.

People will tear you apart on this forum if you build a Battlefury on a Bounty Hunter but if you tell someone that there is a mathematical reason why some of their basic complaints with DSR are invalid, suddenly everyone gets extremely sensitive.

valve are making one of there own the only problem that its valve so its going to take absolute ages

You're forgetting collision size and radius... though that is technically the travel range, it can probably connect 24-48 units past that.

Additionally, the arrow has some width in a collision radius: 115. Maybe the actual range is 3163?
