Right now Abaddon is the only hero that has an universally useful dispel type skill: Aphotic Shield. They had to change it so it doesn't remove Doom's Doom, because that was really bad. Well, that's not quite right. First is that Aphotic Shield is not a purge. It's triggered buff removal, so it's much stronger than a Purge-based item/skill would be because it removes a lot of things that Purge doesn't. Second is that Aphotic Shield removing Doom in DotA 1 was a bug that Icefrog couldn't really get around. He could block Aphotic Shield from being targeted on Doomed targets, but the reason you could remove Doom was because if Doom was placed on the target while Abaddon was in his cast animation, it wouldn't stop the cast.
Doom was patched to not be dispellable in dota1 about a year ago

Why do you find ember spirit to be an extreme?

What a stupid thing to say.
Sounds like "I don't like it so nobody else can enjoy it" to me.

Certainly not to me, if i were to name which hero is a LoL hero i'd say Earth Spirit, not only does he have a starting passive, but also abilities with "bonus conditions" (if ability hits stone remnant, then it additionaly does this).

I feel Ember spirit is one of those item dependant heroes who don't actually have to snowball all that hard. It costs a lot of cash to get two battlefurys on him, but once you do, it doesn't matter much if you're playing from behind, you suddenly become very powerful and with two battlefurys you're in a great spot to flashfarm. That's sort of the sweet thing with a hero who potentially can carry using battlefurys, even if you die several times, the parts to build a battlefury are not all that expensive by themselves so you're not completely shut down if you're ganked a few times.

Technically speaking, one has to be a part of both communities to qualify for bashing. lol

I suspect people will decide that the Battlefury build isn't that good except as a lategame transition eventually.

2 Battlefuries? Are you sure that you aren't playing Diretide?

And that he doesn't have a stupid LoL hero name like Mangix.

Treant Protector's base damage is too low for proper carrying.

I agree with Battlefury stacking, but default recommended item list is hardly justified.

And as we all know Valve recommended items are never wrong, like headdress first on LD or bfury for every melee hero.
