For pub games, you can anything you want, but for more pro and competitive matches, Radiance is quite uncommon. If you're talking about straight damage items MKB or Deadalus will work fine. Lifesteal is quite common for a DK orb. The reason why Chinese DK get Pipe, BKB, and AC is to take advantage of his supreme tankiness and his ability to take down towers with the team. So although the core items of Pipe and BKB are the same, the style of playing is different if you're trying to get pure damage items. Usually the combination of AC and his Frost Dragon form is more than enough to serve as decent DPS. Combined with Pipe and BKB, you have a very sustainable form of DPS in the teamfight, as DK just won't die at that point. | ||

It disconnected 4 people at once from a game I was in, when I restarted dota it didn't give me a choice to rejoin. A couple minutes later everyone else still in the game disconnected at once. | ||

Dragon Blood and Fire Breathing will do it right? The hp/regen + armor allows you to soak up auto-attack hits (even more so with stout shield) and then you have fire breath for scoring last hits/harassment and the stun to keep your opponent honest. It's a long stun so it's not something your opponent can take lightly. Plus if you are going towards pipe you get the magic resistance and additional hp regen pretty early on. | ||

DK mid essentially stalemates vs. anyone with Bottle-Crow, provided he gets to Bottle without being too far behind. You won't really exert any rune control, and you won't deny them, but your natural regen and Breathe Fire spam with Bottle Crow will make it so they simply can't prevent you from farming. After 6 they also can't leave to gank without you shoving down their tower. The two counters are to play someone mid who's ok just freefarming vs. DK (I've seen Chinese teams pick Sniper or Syllabear mid for this) or to put a duo lane mid that forces DK out of lane before he even has his Bottle (e.g. CK+AA). | ||
