actually the chance, that is spirit can be moved freely is the only thing that should be changed again. if you chased some1 with the spirit in dota 1, there was no way, that you would be able to hit him für den full buffduraion afterwards. if this is chanced, he will be fine again.

I think that made the hero more flexible and easier to use, but necessarily stronger in every case.
Though I think that change contributes as well to why we've seen earlier aura max compared to when the hero was in competitive DotA 1 in 6.74. Being able to reliably keep your aura on key targets pre-BKB is a big deal, whereas 6.74 TC requires BKB to consistently keep the aura where it needs to be because you need to do it yourself.

It definitely makes it stronger in terms of being able to make sure you hit every creep and every nearby hero without putting yourself in harms way for the bonus damage, which is pretty big for the early game, and as you said, to reliable keep the aura on a key target.
Either way, this hero is ridiculous.

Regardless, I'm not sure what Icefrog's reasoning was for continuously buffing a hero that already saw a very significant amount of high level professional play and was a high pick/ban priority in that version.
I can understand the spirit change because that makes the hero a little bit more approachable to play. But straight numerical buffs to it made no sense to me.

I dunno, he randomly buffed Dragon Knight with that ranged stun and that still puzzles me.

Honestly if you have infinite money and they aren't locking you down, two lassoos is pretty terrifying.

Yeah the double lasso actually seemed pretty scary, although I have to think that other items would be more cost effective.
Either way it looked fun as fuck to be able to double lasso.

LOL did i just see Sn0_man on EE's stream self-stun himself with alch when there were 2-3 enemy heroes around

Yeah that is him, and that is the type of play I would expect from him

As Pudge, is there much you can do against a Nyx besides getting a bkb? Doesn't seem like it's usually an item you want, but without it doing much of anything seems pretty hopeless.

it's not much different from playing against any other stunner just make sure you have sentries

In wc3 dota, TC/ET was not first pick/first ban. He was the sort of the hero the Chinese picked after the first round of picks/bans (this is as of 6.78). His large amount of play at the moment is due to him not being at parity with dota 1. He would still be popular, but not first pick/ban popular.
|
It depends, nyx is just obnoxious to deal with in general if he hasn't fallen behind on levels and if he has a pretty big level advantage you have to commit so much to deal with the hero.
I don't think pudge should have any issues with nyx if the case isn't the later as long as you maintain your level advantage over him.

So something weird just happened, this has been happening http://i.imgur.com/bbYXVUM.png, the other page looks essentially the same (27w/4l) which I found strange since I don't usually win this much. I was finally getting consistent High MM games and then my last game something seemed off so I searched it up and it was a normal game for the first time in a while and people on my team whose dotabuffs were showing had like 150 games all of them (I have 800), anyone know why this might be happening?
*edit* not brag post, legit curious why I would suddenly have tanked quality of games when I am winning.

I'd prefer a nerf either to Spirit's cooldown - 16 seconds seems a wee bit low - or to the range on NO. I'd also be very ok with a rescale of the damage on Spirit to 80->240 instead of 120->240 so it's not so good at level 1.
