Because the complaint was that he contributes so much additional damage to the teamfight. The bug isn't related to that.
He also mentioned that ET was a non-factor feeder in the laning stage so he clearly didn't dominate his lane ^_^

Well, yeah, the point of Shadow Fiend being a high skill hero is that you can crush worse players with good play. That's why it's impressive to watch - most people (heck, probably most professionals) wouldn't have gotten a triple kill there.

he also got an (undeserved) buff in 6.78, buffing his aura back to first release levels plus the additional 25 radius, which is rather ridiculous

If anything threw ET into the "OGM WTF" realm, its probably the de-linking of movement between the spirit and the hero.

What do you think about ET combined with an undying ? Wouldn't natural order and plague synergize greatly ? Even an SD / ET combination : disruption, soul catcher into atsral spirit / earth splitter would asure a kill each time right ?
I feel like there are quite a lot of possibilities with ET not exploited currently.
