Speaking of Void, what's the standard-ish item build for him? For some reason I can't keep this hero rolling in pubs unless I'm already being carried by team mates into the mid-game.
Short answer: yes. Bad or situational.
Battlefury is a good item on heroes whose farming is more limited by damage than mobility. Thus, it's generally great on AM, and is pretty solid on Void. It's actually a fantastic item on Alch as well, because of how much he benefits from killing creeps quickly, but people generally shy away from that in the West in favor of going for Shadow Blade early fighting builds. The analogous Aghanim's Scepter is in a similar position with Tiny, with most people divided between aggressive Shadow Blade builds and farming Aghs builds. The item is acceptable on Jugg and PA, but both are so much better as early fighting heroes that it's usually just silly to build them as anything else. It's technically better than buying four Energy Boosters on Bounty Hunter.
I'd imagine that it's actually fairly good on Spectre, but Haunt+Radiance is a good combo and so few people opt for anything else as her farming item (should they decide to not go for the Phase+Drums fighting build). Five Battlefuries and a Heart on Kunkka is next level.

And it doesn't help that both other build routes (Yasha-Diffusal / Radiance) benefit her skill set so much.
But hell, why not be fighting when you play spectre? Farm phase / drums and have alotta fun participating in teamfights and crush them when you haunt in.

Heh, good point. Sorry to forget it. But still, if you've ever gotten brown boots Bfury on AM, you'll know he has pretty bad attack speed. Spectre won't be very far behind. It's only when you really get Treads and Yasha into the mix that you get a major difference. The core point still stands, though. Haunt+Radiance is just too good. The Radiance practically gives you a free Zeus ultimate on top of your normal ultimate. AM has no such benefit and greatly desires the mana regen, so the significantly cheaper Battlefury is the better option.

He has blink, probably farm a full jungle 2-3 times faster than a spec.

The assumption is Treads Spec, which is in many cases quite awkward to begin with.
It's also quite valid here because the nature of Spectre's kit makes a defensive item the most typical follow-up to her first farming item. A Radiance Spectre often doesn't buy a single point of AS until her 3rd item.
That fight just after Dire roshed should be the go-to for discussing positioning in pro games. I don't know what Dire were thinking, going up that hill, and Radiant capitalized on it perfectly.
