After all, competitive gaming (which everyone on this site is interested in) is entirely about taking something that most people just mess around with and treating it seriously and engaging in Ultimate Tryhard Mode. Beyond that, I'm pretty sure most posters here take Dota more seriously than the average Dota player, and the average Dota player will take games more seriously than the average gamer. His belief was that pub Dota is for trolling and having stupid fun, and his play and in-game attitude reflected that. Merlini tries pretty hard in pubs. He wants to play well and win, and his play and attitude reflects that. His games are fun, but they're also pretty serious business. The disconnect with EE is that he has different standards for himself and for everyone around him. He can go QB/SB KotL, but you better not, and you better leave the chicken alone and pool his KotL regen so he can afford that QB.
