In reality, some cultures swear a lot, regardless of age or 'maturity'. And especially on the internet it's hard to convey tone properly and swearing makes it very easy. It's additionally a linguistic crutch and many people on the internet are bad at English. It's just 'easier' to call someone a dick sucking whore than it is to explain why they are a bad influence on the scene. And the first vents a lot more frustration you might have about the topic than the latter. | ||

Actually i don't frown upon that, i just tell what my RL experience is, the older i got the less people were swearing. Dunno, maybe it's just that the people at older ages are swearing the same amount, just not in the environment i'm in. It's also not like i don't hear swearing at all, just most of the time it's when someone is joking. Also posting on the internet is not really the best way to vent frustration compared to alternatives :/ BTW where did you get the idea that my post was supposed to be scientific/pseudo-scientific instead of just my opinion? | ||
