It also has to do with your teammates usually being pretty poor about leveraging the map pressure that split-pushing creates.

Makes him a pretty good splitpusher once his ability to solo-kill has diminished somewhat. I honestly think bloodstone is a shitty item on storm 90% of the time

The only time discussing heroes or items is worth it is in the competitive sense. You could build shit by closing your eyes and left clicking in pubs and still win.

If you can win with that, I'd be impressed.

There's nothing wrong with discussing how items or heroes play out in pub games since the vast majority of people here will play pubs. Also no, you really can't.

Anyhow. Discussing how things play out in pubs is far more useful than discussing pro level

It has to do with pubs being inherently snowbally and playing builds that usually involve farming to 3rd item before participating in fights being generally ineffective in them compared to builds with earlier teamfight participation. It also has to do with your teammates usually being pretty poor about leveraging the map pressure that split-pushing creates. I dunno, at least in "High" games, I find that split pushing can be very effective because pub teams with poor communication and coordination don't know how to efficiently respond to it. By splitpushing a tower you can draw 3+ TPs or you can even defend a rax solo by splitpushing and they might even back off your base. Things like that. Split pushing creates decisions for them to make which invites the possibility of bad team decision-making.

You can make just about anything work agaisnt a team with absolutely no synergy whereas a composed team thats communicating and working together will not make some hero compositions, pub builds or w.e viable.

Outside of Tinker who wants BoT ASAP... I think the last time I've seen a BoT-rushing split pusher was Lakelz-style morphling and that wasn't popular at all. I guess meepo qualifies too, but you want the agh staff first. OTOH, BoT-first bat, solo bane, beastmaster, etc. is devastating, because you can attend every single little skirmish that breaks out. Now that I think about it, it's kinda sad BoT-first necrolyte isn't a thing anymore.

The amount of rage over skype was rather insane when he never bought a sheepstick.

And how isnt fast BoT related to splitpush ? jesus and bot first anything (bar tinker) is subpar. Bane/Bat wants a blink or arcane, bm wants a mek or a blink before even considering BoT.
