I heard someone ask for sniper build, so here is the steam guide that you need! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=130832145 keep in mind sometimes you can skip ulti until lvl7/8 if you dont have the mana to cast it (while you are busy taking tower with shrapnel, the standard time for a 'pushy lane' of taking down a T1 is before 5mins)
I am addicted to the hero, i played him for 3 games in my limited time of playing dota last week T_T I used to wonder why steve likes that noob hero but now i am addicted to him.
Also this is my sniper gears: I look like a big squirrel with a big gun in game
You think you got a cool looking Sniper? Check this out:
That's right, a Compendium Fantasy Challenge tagged Killstealer. Managed to trade that for a stupid Chen head. :D
A) I believe they fixed skewer B) No, you can't do it with RP since RP relocates them at the same time it detects them. If the end location was the fountain you'd only hit people in the fountain.
Essentially, RP resolves instantly so it wouldn't work.

What? There are loads of people who have picked up Dota 2 who refer to them by QWER because they think it's simpler. I don't like it because it's confusing but it's still done.

The reason I ask is this:
A pudge hook relocates the magnus while he's casting rp.
There's also a lot of people who played years of DotA 1, quit for whatever reason (I know Aui played SC2 for a while, so there's that), and came back to the game for DotA 2. For those players, it's not unreasonable that their muscle memory for legacy keys wouldn't be strong enough for them to just switch to QWER.
I've heard Aui on several occasions reference Dota 1 in terms of how mechanics work.
I think it's safe to assume every pro player played Dota 1 unless they say they haven't. Which there are a few off, but they're all HoN players.
Of course there's tons that never really played competitively.

Well using QWER isn't weird, a lot of people used custom keys in WC3 as well and it's a relatively easy switch.
It's referring to the skills as QWER, which is something most old school players don't do.
HoN was a pretty good gateway to QWER as well. I think it's a reasonably more convenient layout for anyone if only you bother to go for it, but that's just a personal preference.

Warkeys was pretty much a must if you had Polish version of WC3 because someone thought it would be a wise idea to change the hotkeys as well (tho i think they were kinda forced to since the hotkeys were usually the highlighted letters), so IIRC if you tried to pick lvlup ability you ordered your character to hold position instead

I don't think it would be muscle memory, rather just preference.
Ther'es no way you lose muscle memory for legacy keys. I last played Dota 1 over 6 years ago before I touched Dota 2, and my fingers still knew exactly where all they legacy keys should be.

It's not about not being able to play legacy well, it's more about being fine either way and choosing QWER over it. People that played Dota 1 continuously need to make an effort to switch to QWER because of their muscle memory, so they often don't.

Able to play vs pros. Like people who would play in like the full sail. I'd consider near the top like the challenger league of WCS, very good but not necessarily pro.
It's actually kind of discouraging, end goal for me in any game is to play on a competitive level (not pro, but mid teir amateur no prize money kind of things) regardless if I reach that goal, most games I've played to date it's been reachable but I quit WC3 dota in 2006 and didn't play it until Dota 2 beta which leads me to think I might have fallen to far behind the curve to catch up.

Yes, but enough heroes have been added in 6 years that unless you're fine putting in all the effort to learn the new heroes' hotkeys, you'd rather just switch to QWER.
That's the way it was for me at least. I knew all the heroes I did before, but I didn't want to bother learning all the new ones.
