Being serious, I agree I don't think orange is changing anything (although I'd love to see the icex3 and mushi as teammates, their rapport during the 1v1 finals was really cool).
E: To be fair, its not like that aegis deny was a "pivotal moment" it was simply an unfortunate occurrence, and without it happening it is exceedingly hard to see Orange losing. Orange still were way ahead without the aegis but they let Na'Vi back into the game.

Well, generally teams that get called out on it specifically draft to avoid fights and split push.
Still, it's a legitimate strategy, albeit one that's not overly exciting to most people.

Still, it's a legitimate strategy, albeit one that's not overly exciting to most people.
It is the thing that saves the game from becoming man fights all the time and people just farming up waiting for the big fight and relying totally on item timings. It is a way to play that game that requires a play to expose themselves to being ganked and keep the game interesting.
People don’t like it because it isn’t as exciting as a gank based style. However, if you play a lot of Dota 2, you know how tense push styles can be and it is stressful to watch.

Yes, they made some big mistakes in fights after it, but not having the aegis limited when and where they could fight.
