Can't say I have ever tried. Also, I feel like watching dota for newcomers isn't that hard. I started out watching TI1 vods and etc, and while I didn't get everything that was happening, I still understood blackholes were good, I could sorta get some stuns and whatnot. Its not that unfriendly for newcomers that understand the general concepts (two bases, last hits give gold, etc). | ||

The hardest thing for a new person is the penalty for dying. You don't lose gold in LoL iirc and you even become worth less gold if you feed. You can play a game of LoL, last hit like ass and maybe still end up with an item or so near the end of the game. In dota, if you feed, feed some more and last hit like ass, you'll be looking at brown boots at 35m with an absolutely rich opponent. | ||

1st - learn dota. 2nd - clap when shit dies. Dota is too complex to learn it in few days. You need to know every single hero/spell/item/etc to watch it properly with some kind of understanding and knowing LoL doesn't really help that much. | ||
