Or a stun or a way to close the gap or any ability to farm quickly. He is not VS, who at least scales off agi, if you are looknig for a dumb carry/support thing. He becomes a carry in pubs the same way Windrunner does, which is he gets a ton of gold dumped into him due players getting killed by him. But he will never get fat enough to fight a real carry like PL or AM. Also, if you tried to make him a carry, I would just pick Doom and laugh all night long. | ||

Imho something like: 1: Off-LD or Prophet, Mid-LoA, Easy-Naix, Chen + Support (Jakiro, Leshrac, Lina, ES?) 2: Off-LD/DS/Prophet, Mid-SF, Easy-LoA, Chen + Support (Jakiro, Leshrac, Lina, ES?) Could work (or "is not all bad")? It lacks burst but you don't really want fast fights with Chen and LoA anyway. And to make myself look stupid: I really like Battlefury on him... Not because of the cleave, but because Perseverance is imho just an awesome item for him. BF also does not really restrict your mid/early-game fighting because you got survivability allready built in (you could also try to rush Radiance). If i carry with him i tend to go: Basillus -> Phase -> Pers/BF -> Vlads -> AC (radiance would probably also work fine). But seriously, he is not a true carry and for sure shouldn't be your only "carry" on a team, that only works if you get fed like hell. | ||

The problem with running LoA as a semi-carry is that you have to make him a core, and there are probably several other heroes that can fill a similar slot as LoA and take a semi carry role much more effectively later in the game. | ||

LoL teaches that items that support the team are for support players, or ward-bitch as they are more commonly known. The confusion of dota and that many items can assist the team is common place. Also, I love it when OD gets mek as a player of support. It frees me up to get other items, like pipe or urn. | ||
