This is why I would never play meepo and/or visage, its so frustrating....
sometimes I even fuck up microing treants during the early jungling with Furion....click on tree to micro it back SURPRISE you didnt select the treant you clicked on!

It's not on Tab by default. That must be the way you have it set.

He's a really good 4th, even though he's weaker in dota 2, so yes. Seeing him at ti3 would be really awesome.

I could see Abbadon working very well in a defensive trilane. Just spam Aphotic Shield on creeps for good harass (should be very effective now that it explodes even if it doesn't absorb all damage), pull creeps and save you carry with shield + death coil.
He's not a bad ganker, his spell do a decent amount of damage, but he doesn't have a disable, so the other support really needs to have a stun. And he also probably has mana problems if you want to harass with the shield. I think he could be ince paired with a Crystal Maiden, or something...

Wouldn't it be really easy to dodge Aphotic Harass on a creep?
I mean, I could see him being picked once or twice, but I just dont see him becoming more common than a joke / throw-off pick.

If omni-knight doesn't see play I don't know why Abbadon would.
He did see some in Dota 1, but so did Omni.

how is he not a bad ganker, give me one hero that is currently played 4th, 5th position thats isnt a better ganker than him

You say going 700 away from a creep every time he casts the shield is easy?

You can do really mean stuff with the shield in the lane.
Give it to the first creep of your wave, it will be attacked by majority of enemy wave and Shield goes off for full damage almost guaranteed.
Give it to a creep that's almost dead, so they can't lasthit it and need to tank the shield damage or run 700 range away.
You can still use it on your allies or yourself, pull creep aggro and explode the shield that way.
He is quite different from Omniknight because his shield and nuke both have much more range. I don't see the comparison.

What kind of negative buff does Abaddon's shield remove? I remember in HoN, Abaddon can remove stun, and a lot of other negative buff. The ability of removing Naix's slow, DK's stun and ability to dive tower with bomb shield can bring back some aggressive plays.

Abaddon got buffed a lot over the past few patches though.
I could definitely see him become a situational pick
Buffs:

- Movement speed increased from 300 to 310
- Aphotic Shield cooldown decreased from 14/12/10/8 to 12/10/8/6.
- Death Coil cooldown decreased from 6 to 5 seconds.
- Curse of Avernus enemy debuff duration increased from 2 to 2.5.
- Aphotic Shield
Now explode at the end of its duration if it has not taken sufficient damage.
Cast range increased from 450 to 500
But well, i'll wait and see if he's used. I thought bristleback would make an impact too, and he didn't.

He's arguably better than Omni at what he does. The Shield is pretty much a get out of jail free card, if the opposing line up has weak disable, then he's like the equivalent of Tree of keeping someone else up. He's harder to focus down than Omni since his ultimate will trigger. A situational pick for sure, but a not a bad one that can transition into semi-carry/damage. Not a bad Medallion carrier.
As for his lane control, why the hell would you want to spam shield on creeps to push the lane? It's much better to just put shield on yourself in a trilane and posture aggressively to give space to your carry.
Edit:
Abbadon didn't just see some play, he was autopicked/banned until he was nerfed to the ground. How his recent buffs play out, we shall see, but that skill set was wrecking the game before the nerfs.
