I feel there is two ways to play SB. You can play him as a carry (with items like armlet, MoM, lothars, BKB, AC, etc), or you can play him as a setup utility kinda guy (urn, drums, ags, etc). Playing him as a carry in mid or supported, you may want to go the first build. But if you don't have a good lane, and there is already 4 other carries on your team, the later build still does a lot of damage and helps your team a lot, while not depending on farm as much.

I think there's two ways to build sb, one as a solo killer, second in teamfights. Mask of madness is great in solo killing, horrible in teamfights. I don't think you need lothars once you learn to walk to unexpected angles before you start charging to avoid wards, It's also a solo killing item and you get max movement speed with mask of madness + empowering haste.
As a utility, you get even less gold, and a bkb helps a lot more than agh. Agh would help if there are non-stop solo kill opportunities, but that's pretty much feeding.
Orchid's is very good on him since he does a lot of burst damage, and it prevents stuns (just like orchids helps clinks), and the ias is very useful. Also it makes you lock down two heroes in teamfights.

Won't it just be like the teamliquid channel? Full of trade spammers and people who missbehaive.
|
It won't hit main client this week, so no rush

Well, first of all people need to be invited and can be kicked. Second of all, it adds quite a lot of automation to finding groups to party with etc. I think it would be really sweet to have.

Meaning there will be moderation within the guild right?
|
Nobody is so stupid to not allow moderation in the guild, and TL are the best moderators

You can be a part of up to 4 guilds at the same time. That's nice, would've been stupid if you could be in one at a time only.

So TL.net, TL.net IRC , DOEBUTT for me, got one free :D

Sounds like one spot left for ITAMZ, the guild where you find others with battle bonus to afk farm itamz with.

DOEBUTT is indeed the best guild.

Anyway, i am really pleased with all the work valve seems to be putting into their tutorial system, they even reward people hats for completing it. And people love hats. So now there's an actual incentive to COMPLETE the tutorial and no longer just "Ugh, a tutorial? I'll pass"

I hope Valve goes the extra step of showing this to new players. Not just "Oh you're completely new, you're forced to play at least 2 tutorial missions" since that will lead to people just doing those two and not doing any more. Hopefully they will show very clearly that there are cosmetic benefits to completing more tutorials.
Hell, I can't wait to play through the tutorials myself, I think it's a really great idea.
