I'm not even complaining, this is just their process and what people should expect. It has it's problems, but it also has the benefits that you get at least the base of the features sooner. And it allows them to experiment with new features that might not get fully implemented at all.

The compendium when released had no next/prev button and I said on this forum that there would be people that wouldn't get that you had to flip the pages. Some people on here / reddit had that problem. Now there's a next / prev button. This is like basic design shit that wouldn't get out of a no-name 3 man design studio. They just released their spectator tools and when the item pop-up comes in it goes straight through the middle of the microphone on indicator. Presumably because they only tested it in-game without an actual broadcaster. Then of course there's the hundreds of bugs. To the point where the (I believe it was) DSL inaugural match couldn't start for almost an hour because someone had a Taunt equipped and that crashed the entire server. They get there eventually, but they very much value 'just getting shit out there' over quality. I agree but i feel that valve can't win no matter what they do. If they put out a product early people will say "omg its buggy volvo disband pls" and if they put one out late they will say "omg it took you 3 years volvo disband pls" Also fuck people who talk like that its really annoying. I'm quite happy that they finally added the "Ownage!!" sound, even though im mad it took them so long. I feel that valve thinks it can get away with this because the game is still in "beta", and this way were helping them beta test stuff. Its unacceptable that equipping a taunt can cause the whole server to crash, but maybe it was something they couldn't test for until it went live. Either way I love dota 2 and valve to death so im not gonna complain if the game isn't perfect.

http://www.dota2.com/spoilsofwar/faq Q: Why would I spend money while Dota 2 is still in Beta? A: We don't really think of Dota 2 as a beta, but we also aren't ready for everyone to show up and start playing just yet. We are constantly updating the game with new heroes, bug fixes, and new features. None of the items you purchase or the progress you make will be lost or reset once the game is available for everyone.

In this case, you are even talking about the test patch, which is like (beta)^2 and the fact they released it 1 day earlier than usual means that they expect it to have lots of bugs and wanted more time before the main client release

I totally get more subtle bugs/bugs you'd potentially miss even if you were playing the game, but bugs like Veil's aoe? Seems like those are so bad they should practically be caught with automated tests -_- I know that Valve is full of crazy smart people and their products are normally so polished/great that I'm surprised at how consistently buggy new patches seem to be. Maybe one of the flaws of the "work on whatever you want" philosophy they have is that testing suffers :p that being said, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay patch where do you see a veil aoe bug ?

Breasts help when you want to achieve this. ? Sheever has a terrible winrate. Not sure what you're getting at, but even if you get carried eventually your stack usually falls to 50% winrate unless it's godly. 5 stacks also have to play against 5 stacks, so unless you're literally a pro team, the best way to achieve a high winrate would be to have 4 of your friends remake new accounts constantly.
