http://www.playdota.com/heroes/nerubian-assassin http://www.playdota.com/heroes/nerubian-weaver They don`t appear to have 6 legs to me, only if you count the "arms" as legs, but I couldn't find a better picture.

Either way, Definition of BUG 1 a : an insect or other creeping or crawling invertebrate (as a spider or centipede) b : any of several insects (as the bedbug or cockroach) commonly considered obnoxious c : any of an order (Hemiptera and especially its suborder Heteroptera) of insects that have sucking mouthparts, forewings thickened at the base, and incomplete metamorphosis and are often economic pests —called also true bug Merrian Webster says spiders and such are bugs after all. You can probally say that hydras creep as well, so it seems calling them a bug makes sense, even if it's a little odd for me, as I think I've always saw them too much like the Alien aliens.

Except Hydras aren't invertebrates, if the skeletons you find in SC2 are anything to go by. Granted, this is extremely pedantic.

I don't remember the skeletons in SC2 actually. I know they had an exoskeleton, but never considered that they would also have vertebras.

The arms count. If you look at insects like praying mantises, they have four legs and two massive claws. Anub'seran and Anub'arak are insects even by the strict definition. Dota2 Nyx isn't. Bug in the everyday sense isn't a scientific term, but it generally refers to some kind of arthropod, so they're all bugs there. Broodmother counts too. Hydras don't if they do have vertebrae.

Puck doesn't seem to have bones... does that count as a bug? EDIT: and it has 6 limbs, I think this makes it bug-related
