The arms count. If you look at insects like praying mantises, they have four legs and two massive claws. Anub'seran and Anub'arak are insects even by the strict definition. Dota2 Nyx isn't.
You just rocked my world. How can this be possible?

Neither does Broodmother then :I That doesn't change wether all bugs can go invisible though. I have no idea how many legs the other bugs have, we need Bruno. Bug is kinda arbitrary if you think about it. Is there even an actual definition to the word? Nyx is a Beetle. Six legs. Weaver is a Cricket/Grasshopper. Six legs. Broodmother is a spider. Eight legs. Was that really so hard? Not every character based on a real word species actually has the same number of legs the real word species has. Pretty sure everything in DotA does. http://www.playdota.com/heroes/nerubian-assassinhttp://www.playdota.com/heroes/nerubian-weaverThey don`t appear to have 6 legs to me, only if you count the "arms" as legs, but I couldn't find a better picture. Bug in the everyday sense isn't a scientific term, but it generally refers to some kind of arthropod, so they're all bugs there. Broodmother counts too. Hydras don't if they do have vertebrae. Puck doesn't seem to have bones... does that count as a bug? EDIT: and it has 6 limbs, I think this makes it bug-related
I think he does have bones, though. He doesn't have a shell but has clearly jointed arms/fingers etc, so he's got some kind of support in there. Also, I never realised how much he looks like that goddamn crazy frog ringtone thing. I don't think I'll ever look at puck the same way again.
Amusingly, both SKs might count. Sand King is pretty obvious, but Skeleton King certainly has an external skeleton... EDIT: he's not an invertebrate though. Damn.

Artists getting carried away in the leg department without a resident arthropologist for oversight. I'm disappointed in Valve's failure to hire one.
He's still a spider-looking thing though, so I don't mind too much.

I know that (sadly) pandas are not bugs, but i've just browsed a bit the unreleased heroes and i like a lot Ember Spirit (especially since i already play Storm, i could become the panda master or something, and yeah i know i could just play Brew :D). But i don't really know what his playstyle is. Are you supposed to go mid ? How much farm do you need if any, and then, what do you build ? I've tried looking for guides, but the ones i've found advocate things like BF, which he doesn't seem to be a hero for.
So how do you play Ember Spirit ? I'm pretty curious now, and hoping he'll be released relatively soon (<6months). He looks like a very fun hero to play.

So that makes sense
I actually don't know much about ember spirit aside from the fact that supposedly he's OP and he has a spammable omnislash

Flame Remnant is pretty great, think about Static Remnant Vision except instead of it spawning from your current position you can throw it out at 1500 range and up or down cliffs.
His Sleight of Fist (The Omnislash type ability) can apply attack modifiers duiring as well (bash, cleave etc) and has a pretty decent range.
And I think he can jungle with Flame Guard.

dota2lounge should start allowing the betting of pennants, they're easy to calculate cost of, they are stackable, they're easy to replenish, people will spend more because they feel they're supporting a team.
Sales would skyrocket.

Sales would skyrocket. Can you unstack pennants? Would be a problem if you can't.

The conversation about enchantress' tail was more amusing. On topic - if I saw a miniature sized NA I would freak out.

I can't imagine this would occur many times, but if you playing say phantom assassin(or another crit friendly hero), and you're mega farmed. You have a rapier(just for damage's sake) and satanic. If you activate the satanic(200% life steal) and crit for 2.4k+ on someone with barbed armor, does the lifesteal gain resolve(or get applied) before the reflect gets resolved from the barbed armor?

I think the order doesn't matter as long as the attack does enough damage to kill you in one hit from full hp

You could make a much better system than what dota2lounge is at the moment though. Because with single currency you can make it more like a money betting site.
So basically you only need to interact with bots when you're withdrawing or depositing pennants. You deposit pennants and they just get converted into a 'point' on your account, ignoring the different values of pennants. This way you could bet less than a single pennant, so if you wanted to bet .5 pennants, that's fine. But when it comes to withdrawing you have to withdraw in singles or stacks.
Or the whole stack thing can just be ignored, if you don't need to constantly trade with bots then it doesn't matter that they're all singles. (although I guess the amount of bots required to hold them might be a problem)

Why would they use pennants instead of keys? Pennants make no sense as a currency, they should be what they are, a way to show support to a team. Pennants are not really useful in big quantities unlike keys. Sure, it might boost the sales os pennants and give more money to the teams, but that just seems like forcing it too much.

You seem to be brushing off the point.
At the moment, a hardcore fan of a team still has little reason to buy more than 1 pennant. If you let them bet with it, they'd buy 20-50 in a year and have incentive to buy more in the future.
Currencies are all useless in nature. If enough people trade with them it doesn't matter that you can't 'do' anything with them.
