He has a decent amount of utility though, he's can fit into lineups.
I think you forgot to mention he has no stunt XD

I wonder if Centaur + Tiny (+1 other support, like a rubick or a bane) based lanes can work in competitive now that centaur is in CM.
It's certainly capable of wrecking faces in pubs
- Obscene burst damage in lane. - Double aoe stun. - Tiny throw for centaur initiation. - Stampede allows a power treads+aghs Tiny to gain the movement advantage that yasha/drum/phase boots Tiny builds enjoy

Imagine if toss stunned for say 0.3 sec, that combo would be devastating
a lina or lesh would follow up well

The lane gets countered by a long range disengaging stun like Earthshaker or Jakiro. You have no harassing power as double melee, so you're only able to go all-in for kills. If the enemy trilane has one of those counter-initiating stuns, then your lane will flop.

It would be a devastating aggressive trilane, perhaps with Sand King or Ogre Magi as the third.

Tiny Techies still the best combo anyway.

While true, I imagine this would be taken into account at the drafting phase.

Tiny also has a disgustingly low mana pool and high mana cost early on. If you don't capitalize on your first attempt it's pretty much over.

There are a lot of other ways for that trilane to flop, a lot more than your draft can account for. Against a Naix or Jugger, for example, you present no threat to him whatsoever.
I just gave one example, but apparently that wasn't good enough.

Let's not forget supports like shadow demon, or hell, ANYONE that can disrupt the chain burst and eek you out with any amount of health. They can't keep trying and once their mana pool is depleted you can just harass freely and not have to worry about anything.

On another subject did anyone try recently some 5 man lv 1 everyone on 1 lane push this shit.
If so what did your comp look like?

Dargon Knight has one of the higher base movespeeds (as long as you're in dargon form, but why wouldn't you be?). If you're going drums as well then you should be able to position relatively easily without phase.

When I was talking about Omni mid vs. Puck for example or any popular ranged mid hero for that matter, I'd never expect Omni to win, but be able to stay in lane, soak exp and get at least a basic amount of farm. Sure that's something you can get in offlane as well, but the problem with offlane is, that you're never sure on whether you can actually get anything. A level 5 Omni after 10 minutes into the game just doesn't cut it.

Doesn't work in pubs because you can't ban out Kotl.
As to the idea of merely going even in mid as omni (like vs puck) that's at most a best case scenario. I just don't think it's worth the tradeoffs for some kind of gimmicky Aghs strat.

Well, it doesn't work anyway cause it's a terrible strat.

It's better to combo a lvl 1 rosh into 5man mid imo. We used to do it with an aura strat, BM, VS, Luna, Drow, etc. into an 8min throne. It's probally not optimal but it was fun. No guarantees on its effectiveness outside Garena.
