It's really not 1 specific thing.
I think people's problems with his casting are vastly exaggerated by the fact that they don't like him. Because otherwise we'd hear as many whine about AC's casting.
I'm sort of in the same boat as Kipsate. I dislike the person but I'm fine with the casting.

It sounded like he was proclaiming himself the best caster there and only the best matches suited him.
I think Tobi is ok, nothing spectacular. There are no big-name caster in Dota I dislike. Enjoy Draskyl the most though.

If you want to search up on Tobi just google around a bit or look on Reddit and you can find stuff, I don't think its a good idea to have a ''what tobi did wrong'' array of posts in General Discussion.

I was fine when I started, but now ... it seems like every single match he casts is basically the same. I get that he want to bring excitement to the table and that, but when he's hyping EVERYTHING so much for no reason, it just devalues his casting as a whole I feel. I don't know a lot about what he's said and done, but his casting, while pretty good, just seems far to bland for me right now.

I've just been thinking...
New patch bloodstone changes:
Bloodstone - Initial charges increased from 6 to 8 - Can be activated to instantly kill yourself
...resurrecting teamfight support healer Skeleton King with Bloodstone? Add a Mek for even more heal?
Does Bloodstone even proc on SK death with resurrection?

Also Suicide costs 1 charge + if you don't have Aegis/Resurrection and actually die then you loose 1/3 as well, which is a lot.

Sundance DiGiovanni @MLGSundance 14h And yes - we (MLG) are still working on our DoTA2 plans. Hope to have more info after e3. Perhaps by Anaheim (game won't be there tho) take from it what you will.

It's insulting, that's what it is...

How is this game going to be "featured" exactly? its not like enough people play it for there to be a tournament. I dont think...
Is it just like advertising or something?

It's a promotional tournament.
Basically, any time a game that isn't already a big eSport is picked up by a big organisation. It's a promotional tournament. Almost no one is in a place to spend money on a game that has no scene.

Esports as advertising should hardly be surprising.

Im not surprised that a studio would pay to have their game advertised at a major venue, im just curious to know what the deal is. Its just that I have never heard of this game so I find it odd that its just suddenly in MLG while dota has been on the waiting list for like two years or something.

Why would MLG pick up dota2 when they can get money for running other games?
