Hey lets make centaur ulti a passive, it used to be a passive anyway, lets change it!!111 wtf] old centaur and new centaur ultimate are completely different, not even close to comparable old razor ulti which was passive though was really close to it what it is nowadays(it did x aoe damage every y seconds permanently around him) Show nested quote +Yea looks at those mindgame "Batrider suddenly got a hidden item, but no stats, WHAT COULD IT POSSIBLY BE?????" You will have to look at his stats to find out which item it is, which adds another skill-element into the game which is always good. If you only can take only a quick glance at someones item you will probably only see that he has a cloaked item, but not his stats. For an Alchemist who has been farming for 12 minutes it could be a Radiance and he proceeds to farm the jungle out of sight OR it is a shadowblade+x and he is attempting a gang RIGHT NOW.
How could you look at alch items if he is currently invisible and ganking you? And yea those +60 dmg and the fucking sparkles around him will certainly not give it away

That's one of the shittiest way to start an argument I ever heard. And besides Flamewheel saying "some are pretty cool", who the hell was approving you.

This is hilarious. Don't stop

Changes are obviously fake but holy shit I'd have fun being able to grow trees...
You could write GG on the minimap You could take dick-drawing to a whole new level You could make sick paths for Treant to use for invis You could set up awesome Timberchains/Shackles You could block off the rosh pit(lol)

I like the way you think.

There is no way to reduce brainsap damage, and brain sap will still deal full damage even when it is overkill so it won't fix anything. And even if it would be a nerf to an underused hero makes absolute no sense.]
Another post which makes just stare in awe, if you dont have a fundamental knowledge of mechanics, do not argue with me. I'm not gonna iterate on what "Pure damage" is, but if you are curious to get atleast a bit of knowledge of it, you can use google or even try it out in a practice lobby. Thing is; it does not do full damage against stuff like Kunkkas boat etc.

Imagine you are currently at an enemys tower and the enemy alch is porting in, but he is immideately moving into the FoW and you only had 0.5 seconds or so to look at his items. You have no knowledge which item he has. (Well maybe you have, but then you have very fast eyes and it is the already called skill-element which is always improving the game)
Edit:
That's one of the shittiest way to start an argument I ever heard. And besides Flamewheel saying "some are pretty cool", who the hell was approving you.
I didnt use that as an argument, its just a funny observation. In case your observing skills are a little rusted, i posted several things beforehand.

Treant used to be able to plant trees. They had no collision but blocked vision, sickest jukes happened

You could try to block popular ward spots with a fuckton of tangos at the beginning of a game.
Guys I think this is the best change ever.

holy shit it's genius are you icefrog gaymon?

Funny how you say that I have no clue about dota mechanic, and you don't understand triggered heals.
And still you are all about "underused heroes need buffs", but now you want to nerf an underused hero?
And about that smoke thingy, not like you could actually use the smoke and hide yourself?

Ok if the tree-growing time was buffed to 12 seconds or less, you could wait for wisp to relocate and then surround the spot they relocated from with trees. Sickest surround ever, tango = wisp counter.
oh and obviously user-grown trees would be fortified by glyph so that you could keep people trapped.

If you're looking at these changes from a standpoint of "I think these changes are good for the game", you have to realize that there are so many that it becomes impossible to analyze how individual changes will affect how the game is played anymore. A "patch" as comprehensive as this would completely revamp the game.
The only thing that's for certain is that tangoes growing trees would be good for the game.

I like you now lol. The guy has a sense of false superiority. He thinks his knowledge abt mechanics in dota is quite good, ppl who dont have his level of understanding should not argue with him. Guess you chose to ignore what Yango posted ealier because choosing facts to support you and screw facts which are against you right ?

10 cogs in a circular arrangement makes zero sense in WC3's square grid, especially since cogs in DotA 1 can only push straight up/down/left/right and not diagonally (part of why cogs are way stronger in DotA 2--you can approach cogs from the diagonals and not get shocked).
In b4 Icefrog hiring gaymon to consult on balance.

holy shit you could deny neutral camps to enemy junglers by filling them up with trees.
I've gotta stop thinking about this.

I've gotta stop thinking about this. Trees aren't units so they don't block spawns.

I've gotta stop thinking about this. Trees aren't units so they don't block spawns. Obviously you'd make a line of trees to literally surround the neutrals, meaning that you had to cut down the trees to get to the neutrals. And then you'd glyph your trees so that they couldn't cut the trees down.
it's like warding camps except way more expensive and very temporary!

I am currently dling wc3 to get into the editor and try it out myself (Yes i have access to unprotected dota maps) I know from which point janggo is coming from but i have not done anything for 5 years in WC3 and there may have arose some tricks to make the 10 cogs circle viable. (In theory 10 cogs is really good for a circle)
Edit: Im busting out in laughter currently

Ok lets count those melee heroes who got diffusal + manta.
Riki: Its a straight out buff to him, his high agility makes the manaburn 100% stronger than before, especially because illusions usually tend to not hit as often as the main hero because you dont animation cancel with them and they dont posess blinkstrike
Phantom Lancer: I guess i dont have to argue why his playstyle got nerfed Especially the situations where only illusions where hitting you and burning your mana/killing you were the most rediculous to play against, and that change removed that.
