This is only speculations but I'm quite sure Pendragon as well as Riot (who had the rights of dota-allstars.com) used d-a suggestions to make their owns heroes. Some guy on reddit was saying he was the one creating the idea of one of the most popular heroes in LoL, temo or something and honestly seeing so many suggestions = LoL heroes I have no doubts about it. I mean come on... Riot sold/gave Blizzard the rights just to fuck with Valve about the "DotA" trademark! | ||

So I guess that means no one can copyright anything they put on TL. So there's no 'owner' per se. Similar to how it works with wc3 custom maps and Blizzard, I suppose. Edit: The original terms of use for DA is probably gone forever. | ||
