Weaver should be able to solo, but if you want a partner, any standard 600 range support will do.

Also good is omniknight and Treant, as a laner with weaver. Mostly due to their interactions with heroes that go invis frequently making them stronger. and their ability to shore up the survivability issue weaver has pre ultimate.

though treant only with a heavily roamy middle or a prophet offlaner or something similar.

Trean't doesn't really have any killing or harassing power, Omniknight doesn't either. It will only make sure that your Weaver won't die(which it shouldn't have problems with in the first place).

Emphasising Weavers strong harass ability and combining it with say a Venomancer makes the lane a lot stronger then with a Treant or an Omniknight imo. Omni/Treant feels too defensive.

The other thing is that Weaver's ability to hold a lane 1v2 favors laning with a support that has roaming potential, since he can keep up lane pressure even when the support leaves to gank other lanes. Omni/Treant offer very weak roaming ability.

It's SingSing, CWM, EGM, Wagamama & NotAhax. It's been semi-confirmed for some time already, but it's going to be official on friday. Looking more forward to how the agency does tbh.

Although that will be a very popular team I have a hard time seeing it do well. When Pulse/Infused started becoming a decent team was when mini took over drafting. I don't know who's the captain of that team, who's going to run in-game strategy and who's going to draft.

They're all 'fine' players, although not exceptional. And having fine players is enough to get good results, but then you also need leadership. And I was under the impression 1437 provided that for Mouz when they were successful.

Speaking of which, what supports do you consider the strongest roamers? I consider veno and venge on the short list, but they both have low base move speed. How much does that factor into determining a good roamer? Or does any item-independent hero with a stun/slow make a decent roamer? Chen is an obvious pick because of the strength of jungle creeps in the early game, but I feel as if he functions best with a second roamer.

If your treant isn't harrassing he's playing to his strength wrong.
as for omni repel and purification aid in dives significantly, and with a mobile mid or offlane/jungle those two offer great strength to a weaver. storm/prophet/enchantress ect.

Basically heroes that have long distance stuns are very good roamers, such as Sandking (after a few levels), Earthshaker (fissure so stronk), Shadow Demon (soul catcher, set up for another stun), cm / SS are alright (slow, and level dependent though, not the best). There are some other decent ones, but I would leave it at these ones.

I think level independence is important too. In WC3Dota, ES was the best roamer because the pathing block on Fissure is 8 seconds from level 1. VS was fantastic until the Magic Missile nerf. So was Maiden until Nova got a scaling duration.

More than likely Wagamama will be captain and EGM will draft. And I'd rather see Mini than CWM in the team but really I just hope they do well.
