No go bruno sorry. Because all matches are public, even if Dotabuff doesn't do this, the void will be filled by somebody else with spare time. I can totally understand why, and hence why're putting it up to a community vote.
We as a community could always just kill whoever tries to do it :D

They shouldn't have even done this in the first place. The community is already bad enough

Bruno is dota-academy, not dotabuff.

So you're saying there isn't a difference between someone that was 1900 and someone that was 1700 in HoN? The rating system was never perfect, but someone that is in the same rating as you and has better stats overall is probably better than you.

He's saying visible MMR contributes to a shitty game experience.

The problem is the 1580 hon pro telling the 1490 hon guy to get fucked he isn't play mid etc.
EDIT: Also i wasn't saying weaver radiance is NOT farming. But was saying weaver radiance is fighting against supports rather than 1v1 hardcarries. Manta/medallion/mkb is 1v1 hardcarries.

Radiance is good on Weaver if you can get to it. The problem is the awkward buildup for a semicarry that wants to maintain a high teamfight presence midgame (which is awkward to do when you're trying to bank 3800 gold toward a Relic).
But given his typical mode of damage dealing (disengage/re-engage rotating Shukuchi/Geminate CDs), Radiance fits the way he teamfights (high damage with his Geminate attack burst damage, plus consistent burn damage when he disengages with Shukuchi).

I get radiance on weaver in those games where I find myself owning people with just bottle. Those happen every once in a while on weaver, I usually don't get boots to get called noob in the end game screen by the losing team

Midgame shouldn't be before 15 minutes though. Well it usually wouldn't be unless you are against a super strong pushing team. In which case why would you even go weaver..

Because he said no such thing. When Q'ing in HoN, if you were just 20 or 30 points beneath someone else it'd be far from a rare experience for them to use that as an excuse as to why they have more authority to decide what's going to happen. Not to mention that if you primarily played support you had next to no chance of playing anything else.

Weaver has a strong teamfight timing around level 10-11 when he has 4 Shukuchi 4 Swarm.

If you have a Radiance at 18-20min(reasonable) it still doesn't allow you to fight very well because you still die extremly fast.
|
Why would you go drums on weaver? Maybe when it gave +9 damage, but definitely not with +3. The movement speed aura is wasted.

Because it gives damage, a good aura, mana, hp, agility and a very good teamfighting active. It also has a very good buildup from a bracer.

Its dumb constructing these arguements though. often it depends on the situation throughout the game rather than a single item.

20-30 points below a certain rating wasn't that much.
20-30 points above a certain rating on the other hand meant alot, because at a certain point you weren't getting alot of points for winning matches. The rating system would work perfectly fine at upper echelons, because everyone can easily understand and is intelligent enough to know who is good/who is bad. A bad mid player demanding mid (one who doesn't average high kill/assists per game) can be easily identified and told off. In the current incarnation of the game, you don't have that luxury, so everyone hogs mid when they can. Luckily this doesn't happen too often in higher mmrs, but it still occasionally does happen, and for the most part, when someone refuses to play another lane, they usually feed pretty hard.
The only people that get screwed under a rating system are the ones who predominantly play support. The problem is that support players always have skewed stats. That being said, even in the current system that DotA 2 uses, support players STILL get screwed, because the MMR system ASSUMES you are going to play the highest impact position, so if you so happen to be the best player in the game (which you find out quickly when your mid lane / offlane gets completely outmatched), you're in big trouble.

If all you have is a medallion by 15 minutes then you are doing it wrong.

Then yes because you can teamfight very well with that while if you have a Radiance you will die very easily. Bear in mind that Radiance has an absolute shitty buildup, it is only good when you have complete freefarm. Due to the buildup you can fight even earlier while with a Radiance Weaver you will not be able to fight at all until you have the Radiance and even then you will die very easily.
