i. have a good start
ii. have no close to instant positioning spell (blink/leap/etc.)
iii. are naturally tanky either by stat growth or by skills that help avoid/mitigate damage.
If all 3 points are met, why not go Radi?

If all 3 points are met, why not go Radi? Those 3 points seem arbitrary, unless you build Radiance on Kunkka? Radiance is a farming tool for illusion based heroes like PL and Naga, or heroes that will get the burn effect on many enemy heroes in teamfights, like Spectre.

I still prefer the standard PT/Vit with Aquila, which should be much better in team fights against any competent teams. Mana regen, benefits weaver. Minus armor, benefits weaver. The negative effect from the medallion shouldn't be a problem for weaver at all since he wouldn't medallion someone if he's not able to get away in the first place(Time lapse, shukuchi). Medallion is a cheap and cost-effecient item for mid-game battles with weaver.

Medallion is a cheap and cost-effecient item for mid-game battles with weaver. Okay. I should really try that out next time. Sometimes I'm very stubborn about old "stable" competitive builds. I still feel though, that Medallion is more of a ganking item while Vit booster is the safer "here is an extra 500 hp" item that actually lets Weaver stand and fight and survive nukes, instead of Medallion, which will force him to run around and find good positioning. Hope you can see my reasoning. I guess it all comes down to team composition and initiation during the actual fight.
