So the invisibility case only comes up with respect to Sand King, Riki, and Treant. slark, TA, Potm (its important to note that the leap in DotA one is based off of a brief invis which gave it its disjointing property and is not replicated as such in DotA2),

So the invisibility case only comes up with respect to Sand King, Riki, and Treant. It's mostly come up with respect to invis runes. I've seen it affect SK maybe once or twice, but those are cases where it's likely he was dead regardless and I haven't seen riki picked in forever (plus the people who did pick him I'm fairly sure knew about this bug, they didn't sit in chokepoints), not since he was viewed as an AM counter briefly. edit - Ah, yeah, slark + potm I've experienced myself more than once.

I never play for the sake of winning, i play to have fun, that's what games are for me, entertainment. Winning is neat and all and i don't throw games just because and i'll obviously do my best to help my team, but if we lose, whatever. I can still have fun. Yea, I play with friends also and we love to mess around. Is it really that hard to differentiate between a group of 5 friends playing fun strats and having random teammates fighting over farm, position and lanes? It's more the manner of how you lose rather than losing itself. If I really gave a shit about W/L I would have given up on this game years ago... The entire conversation was about how the addition of em would make matchmaking better. I initially just responded to your comment about how people are "tryhards" for wanting a team that picks a semi-competent lineup.

I initially just responded to your comment about how people are "tryhards" for wanting a team that picks a semi-competent lineup. Then you got hung up on my word choice and missed the entire point of the discussion. Nothing valve does is going to prevent random teammates from conflicting in a team game. "tryhard mode" is just a mindset your entire team should have that you cannot guarantee if you're playing with random people. Not everyone desires having an optimal team every game. Even if you added a ranked Q like LoL has you'd still end up with people playing heroes that others deem bad because it all comes down to subjectivity. You're never going to please everyone.

I learned this watching Firebolt's stream once. He was a solo tide, and ended up hiding in the trees in the middle of the lane for like 15 minutes, slowly leaching some exp.

Like some nature documentary, where you have this scavenging animal lurk nearby in trees.
