And by builds I mean trying to use math or whatever to justify your build. You should almost always max stun. People have this mentality way too much from chinese dota. They think every.single.carry benefits from tranquil, drums, and aquila regardless of the situation 100% of the time. I'm not saying you should be some maverick and try to be creative, cuz that's dumb too....but a good player has a middle ground for builds. Adjusting to the game is always highest priority over what is statistically the best or what seems creative. Why is it one of the worst build in all dota ? You still get the 2sec stun + 2sec stun, ofc you don't get the lousy upgrade in damage, but do you need it? Also tranq/aquila/drums are the best early/midgames items so if you use the maths, you should always build them.. Please state the alternative build to maxing stun.

The nuke is mediocre, the alternatives are worse(even stats), best to level the nuke.

I'd be kinda surprised if 3 extra stat levels or levels in crit that early would give equivalent damage increase to a maxed stun vs a 1-point stun.

But what do you steal kills with if you don't max your stun? There's just no way around it

first point in stun then you max crit in priority You have a lower damage output in the laning phase, but once you have treads/armlet/stick(/midas) you crit for over 400damages with a vampiric aura of 30%

How is it strong in laning phase when you can only use it twice at lvl 11 with wand ?

With SK I go Stun stats stun stats stun ulti stun aura crit till maxed, aura till maxed (with another ulti at 11)
Is it any good?

Is it any good? That's what I'd consider best for most scenarios. The idea of stun is that it scales with levels, the crit scales with items. No point in getting crit before you have items. Also no point in getting aura at a time when you still want to control the lane properly.

Is it any good? Ding ding ding.
Aura first or crit first depends, or even a 2-2 split.

You seem like a douchebag.

The best is when you get all three in the same game and nobody understands the others but they insist on flaming in their respective languages. The only solution is to alt tab and google some choice phrases to stoke the fire...

It's ok. Generally you just want to get a ton of attack speed though. Your ult makes you very hard to kill and hit like a truck anyway. Should pretty much always get AC Mjollnir Abyssal and then the rest is situational. Boots is kind of personal preferance as well. I never know what to get after boots + midas. I never really liked midas on alch, he farms so fast anyway. Brown Boots + Power Stick -> maelstrom -> Phase -> AC -> bkb if needed -> Mjollnir -> Superbash -> Whatever That's kind of my pubbuild where the matches goes ok Brown boots -> Radience -> AC -> phase -> bkb if needed -> Mjollnir -> Superbash is the "I got free farm with alch woohoo build" You should only really join fights post AC. I dunno, not a great Alch player cause I find the hero boring but got quite high winrate with him.
I hate radiance so much, I feel it is so worthless. Reactive remark, but I hate it.

If you go Soul Ring on SkeleKing, maxing stun is normal.

Even if you don't it's normal.
On January 14 2013 04:45 Erasme wrote: How is it strong in laning phase when you can only use it twice at lvl 11 with wand ? Treads swap. With Treads swap you get 3 stuns in a fight, which you actually need like 3 crits to outperform damage-wise. And this is assuming your team has zero pairs of Arcane Boots, you didn't have an additional 10+ wand charges, and didn't buy another intel item like Drums.

Crit is unreliable damage, if I wanted chance I would play CK or Ogre. 2 stuns with wand is more than enough if you use it wisely. You are not meant to "harass" with the stun, it is there to secure kills or to allow your team to escape. Also 1 point in Vampiric aura is surprisingly effective if you can control the creep wave to minimize its impact. Most of the time people expect you to run away when outnumbered, but you just can't really escape if 3 people are chasing you. That is why you turn around and whack them, try to not go down alone. Soul Ring is not needed unless you are either in a VERY VERY aggressive lane or facing off against certain heroes (commonly known as "homosexual mana vampires", you know who they are).

So what's with the "the game is now safe to leave, no stats will be reported." I just left a game before 10 minutes passed after one of my teammates got abandon already and have the game recorded as a loss.
