Good idea?
Soulring is all you need on sk mana wise, I even like to stay with it late game to ensure I always have mana for ulti.
I think arcane boots are better than soulring on sk in almost every situation. Upgrading to arcane boots cost almost the same as soulring and it benefits the entire team/gives you more move speed/larger mana pool.
Arcane boots is just awkward. it only gives you 110 mana because of the 25 cost, and you can't use it when below 25 mana.

wtf no.
on the sk conversation, anyone who wastes money on mana items for leoric is a baddie. Armlet is all the 'mana' you need. Iv played a lot of sk and I find that as long as I am very conservative I dont really have mana problems with him.
woops. I thought you meant sand king, soz
The old build on skele used to be power treads + force staff but now that they nerfed the force staff I guess you probably want drums instead for mana+kiting problem
I have had bad experiences with roaming leoric. go mid, throw my stun, whack him like once and then realize my allied invoker is still last hitting creeps in the river while I have to just walk away.
I prefer to farm nonstop boots-->armlet-->treads-->ac/heart/deso/bkb depending on situation--> some big damage item.
the moment you have armlet you can be a real threat in teamfights but I dont like fighting until I have it.
I dislike Soul Ring on Skeleton King. I think getting some early stats, magic wand and tread swapping is more than enough to solve his mana issues. Only if there's something especially mana draining like QW invoker or Silencer would I consider a Soul Ring.
Also, the moment you hit 6 on Skeleton King you are a pretty big threat in teamfights. Assuming you eat up a lot of damage with your first death, you can throw out quite a few Hellfire Blasts with the mana of your first and second life.
if your not buying mana then you can only throw a single stun while retaining mana for your ult. edit- pretty sure you only get one. maybe two if you went stats.

Might just give it a shot. Maybe people actually speak English over there

Magic Wand gives a lot of mana regen. In a fight as Skeleton King, you generally want to be able to absorb a lot of damage and blow your ulti. Magic Wand is great as it puts you should always be in the middle of the action tanking for your team.
you don't need more than one point in leorics stun, it doesnt boost the stun duration and doesn't reduce the cd. also i'll murder the next one who buy vanguard on ns

Yeah I randomed him today and looking at the tooltip I was thinking the same thing, the stun duration doesn't scale at all. So what would be a "go to" build for SK? 1 point un stun, then stats/critical/vampiric aura? Of course you don't want to take vampiric aura early because it pushes the lane, but on the other hand critical strike is not very good when you have low amount of damage.

Edited out: I am dumb. Thought it said Lesh
Wait, why not level the stun? The damage increase per level is decent. It's not just 200 damage (300 total), it has a damage over time portion along with the slow. From dota2wiki:

Of all the heroes in Dota NS and Axe are the only ones I would get Vanguard on. Vanguard allows NS to dive towers more effectivly early on. I don't get it often but it is not by any means bad on NS.
