I feel it's almost not a challenge to stack like this. We're 75% win over 20 games together and it's not even a full stack, mostly just 3/4 but having a couple of additional people you can rely on in a pub is so silly. We always random and still win most games incredibly comfortably. Seeing this dynamic first hand makes me understand why so many pros just play with bad friends or don't often stack with other pros, games would be so fucking easy for them it's not worth playing. The few games we've lost have been to other more well known groups like WarDeNs group etc. I'm conflicted, it's very nice and fun to play with people you know but games become less intense, but games are also more enjoyable due to lack of raging etc because even when you lose you know what happened and people talk about why etc., it's not just some random guy on your team. I'm not sure if I want to continue stacking or keep playing solo/duo. Anyone out there chose to play solo when you have options to stack? Divine courage. You are only as good as you choose to be. Maybe not Divine Courage, but doing silly and obviously bad things should be enough to make you have decent games. It's also probally one of the reasons why so many pros do silly builds on pubs. Plus it's fun. You just can't be mad when you eventually lose, because that's basically what you are asking for.

All of my friends pretty much suck... I wish I had good people to play with to offset my frequent furstration with my stacking. Not only do my friends suck, but when I play with them the rest of our team sucks even more. I hardly solo queue, but when I do I'm in very high. When my friends solo they play in normal. When I play with them the games are horrible.. very, very rarely is there an even game. It's either stomp or get stomped. The last game I had there was someone on voice chat giving my friend sven a hard time for not having battle fury yet... O_O

First off, pudge really really wants a fast level 7 so that his hook is max length and so that he can ult people (Hook + ulti combo is a kill on most enemy heroes at level 7 or below). Also, pudge can bully many enemy heroes out of mid with rot + the threat of hook, since 1 hook is often GG again in a 1v1 situation (obviously not always). However, with pudge you don't usually go mid with the intention of winning in lasthits. Even losing mid in terms of Creep Score, pudge is always a threat, and can very hard to contest runes against due to hook. 1 screw up vs a pudge and the lane is often unsalvageable, and it isn't like you have to be really dumb. Just get hooked once. Oh yeah, and just by sitting out of vision range at night, you threaten a hook on mid while forcing other lanes to play passively (depending on ward vision of course). Smoke ganking early with pudge is very viable.

Because one hook + rot + dismember is usually a death from full hp.

I have no idea if this is true or not but I think MM might build a seperate MMR for groups that you queue with consistently. I found a solid group of about 3 guys who I regularly stack or duo queue with. One guy in particular I queue with a ton, we now have about ~100 games played together. Our winrate over time has gone down from 67% from when we started to 51(!)% now. Even with the other guy whom I am duo queue'ing with a lot more now, our winrate is hovering at 56% with 78 games played. It might be the fact that we mix in a lot of CM mode as well which is a totally different ballgame

Watch a replay or a vod and pay attention to the cs, quite impressive :p

Often in the midgame you will be trying to either gank, farm or push. Especially farming is what a lot of heroes will be trying to do. Pudge is a constant threat, since his hook can hit you from out of nowhere and basically guarantee a kill on you.

I wish they would make sven more visually appealing. It seems being able to 2shot 3 people at 1 time should be cooler looking

But does anyone think that might switch to dota? Well, if SC2 meant current Wings of Liberty forever, then yes, Dota 2 would surpass it even on TL (IMO). However, For the first time since WoL beta, I actually have some hope for the direction of SC2 (not much, but some). If blizz can get their act together, well they are blizzard. Still glad to see TL branch out and sponsor a deserving group of guys like they did. Kinda wish Paint made it on there, but what can you do? (Merlini would be sweet as well, but they currently are already kinda fighting over who plays what in terms of 1-3 and Merlini doesn't strike me as much of a dedicated support player, MAYBE a 4 in the jungle). FWIW, I predict that TC will settle into carry role, Korok will play mid consistently except with a very few heroes, and Bulba will inhabit the offlane. Really don't expect to see much TC solo mid, but Bulba will do it occasionally.
