will be interesting to see how he will do in Dota. Toby as Co-Caster in WC3 should be interesting too. The WC3 Tourney is stacked with WC3 legends Sky, Lyn, Moon, Remind, Fly100%, etc. probably the best competition for a WCG tourney this year. sad that there are so many Dota2 teams unable to participate. | ||

Drow plus support Vengeful spirit is just retarded. Right now the most picked supports are undying (kind of), jakiro, leshrac, rubick, chen, then maybe kotl and enigma, wisp. Aside from undying who's just ridiculous in trilanes, most of them are ranged and can hold people in place with a disable (aoe too). SK's a very good antipush hero, but it's more of a killing metagame than a pushing metagame now. And he's melee, and if he burrow strikes he has to commit vs a bounty hunter. Rhasta sees play when a lot of the other supports are taken/banned, but his problem is that he doesn't have an aoe disable which helps a lot against dives, and he needs levels so trilaning vs trilaning isn't so good. SD is good for a defensive trilane, though most of the carries can initiate (ck, sven, even void) for a followup stun, while sd offensively is the initiator. Panda's not a late game carry, although he can get a lot of kills with his ult. But he won't lane well vs the common bat or ta mid, so if those get banned it's usually going to be a nightstalker or qop. He can't offensive trilane vs an undying and ice path is pretty bad for him. But it can work if you're willing to force a lot of fights. | ||

Drow+Gargoyles Drow+Windrunner etcetc. SK can't counterpush unless they leave him to do so, he has no ranged clearing ability, clearing creepwaves means he must melee them. | ||

Now you roam and harvest kills with smoke+diffusal. Get BKB if needed and eventually get items such as butterfly, upgrade diffusal, manta and teamfight when possible because dat smoke screen. Riki isn't very effective when just farming IMO, gotta get active and grab the midgame where your power lies. | ||

Also although everyone is this thread will detest me for saying this, grab an Orb of venom while in lane. It will help you early on before you get diffusal, sell when you get your diffusal though.  but if you want something to assist in laning a pms would be a better choice. It won't be a wasted item sold for half price. It would be giving more damage and has damage block, it only lacks the very minor slow. | ||
