My personal observation is this. I honestly don't think you should ever worry about winning or losing, just try to play the game in a way in which you try to do the correct thing and correct your mistakes, the only common factor in all of your bad games is yourself.

The thing is most veteran players (from my experience and people i have played with) wouldn't care much on losing or winning as soon as the game is good (everyone in game knows how to play and willing to adjust themselves to give what the team needs at times). For example, I don't even give a damn to 4/5 carries in team because we are are not playing for money or anything and it is incredibly challenging and fun to see if we can make the line up works, is just that people need to play as a team, buy cour/fly if they felt like they can afford that, drop a vision ward when needed etc.

While for the personal skill wise, everyone always have space for improvement.

I do give a damn about 4/5 carries team because I always end up playing support. If the other team picked tryhard heroes, please pick accordingly. There is nothing better than smashing people trying to win. It is satisfying.

Go try out support riki or kunkka next time! And ya feels so good after owning some tryhard line up. Teamwork > all.

+ Show Spoiler +
My point is every game is playable with minimal warding and whoever has some good economy at some stage can spare some money for that crow/ward/dust etc. I still remember i played this supportive kunkka who went mid and bought the cour/fly and together we bought some wards when needed https://dotabuff.com/matches/8321464.

Try hard heroes or team basically means picking the god top tier heroes. Alot of people lately reason out the win (or lose) with these heroes instead of skill.

CW "was" overpowered?

lol?

lich? Lich?? LICH???
And i would hardly call Magnus overpowered... Same with AM, he is just a good carry.

But low level CM is fun to observe sometimes. I recently saw a CM game which featured:

Darkseer/Jakiro/CK/TA/Tidehunter
vs
Sven/Enigma/Magnus/Leshrac/Kotl.

The Powerlevel was clearly over nine fucking thousand or.. WTF did they actually ban :D (i don't know, missed that part).

Centaur is still man mode, but he's not as OP as he was when Stampede did like 400+ damage once he had it at level 3. He's also very counterable by a decent team, but he tends to stomp pubs pretty hard, thus his dotabuff winrate.

At a pro or near pro level Magnus is considered stronger than Warrunner. Notice Magnus being in nearly every pro game lately. CW is a pub stomper, but not considered a god tier hero right now.

CW has 59% winrate which for a hero known for his pub stomping is about right. balanced.

Calling him CW makes me confused, I thought it was Clockwerk, I usually call him Centaur.

how do you know that? CW has yet to be enabled for competitive play, so we have yet to see how teams would react to having access to him.
You can't just make a statement like "At a pro or near pro level Magnus is considered stronger than Warrunner." when one of the heroes haven't been seen competitively post-remake at all due to not being in CM.

You know that CW isn't in captains mode, do you? And i just linked to his recent winrate.

It goes 62% CW (not in CM) > 58% Jakiro (best support handsdown) > 58% Drow (not in CM) > 54% Lich/Rest (slowly declining from here).

CW might not be uber godmode anymore and you now can actually win against him, but calling him "not overpowered" is a bit of a stretch...
