Can someone please explain the reasoning behind this? I'm DH, and the stats I like on that belt is the high DEX, and 9% life (which isnt that much in terms of hit points)... Even with the high DEX, Witching hour and Innas give ALOT more dps... and any rare with VIT/life %, AR etc gives alot more survivabilty. So what the hell makes it worth 20 mill? EDIT: Just noticed its HC, so i guess the 100 vit bonus is good with Blackthornes pants, but 20 mill?? | ||

I agree on SC it'd worth very little because people play recklessly on SC (pure MF set or full dps with no defense) but on HC the life % with higher than average Dex make it quite desirable for a blackthorne belt. In general there are less "solid items" in the market because of less people playing + less MF + items disappearing via deaths. So top end SC gear is excessively priced on HC and decent balanced sets would be considered over priced compared to SC. For reference here are my two HC chars and my SC DH. My HC chars only use the AH for selling items, or buying brimstones and plans on special occasions (ie beat inferno with only using the AH for a total of 3 brimstones) and when compared to my SC DH they are quite awful. Lol, for a comparison of HC vs SC AH HC brimstones are 270K a pop, they used to be a bit lower but not by much. And although the belt by itself isn't great, for a 4piece blackthornes set it adds above average dps and hp (which isn't guaranteed on blackthornes belt) so it's considered a "good" item on HC. | ||
