Hi plz help me with some approximates values. EUSC
The reason I am asking is that that I would love to put them on low bid. The thing is my last good amulet bugged at certain price (much below the real value), by showing the current bi "0" and not accepting further bids. I had not buyout price. I have seen a couple of other items on AH having the same 0 current bid and no buyot. Is it a hack or it was just some bugs due to auction house mainteinance on saturday night?
Will I be safe to put them on low bid and very high buyout?
Cheers!

Nice Amulet.. dang!
I'd say find the most similar amulet and price a min bid at 50% of the buyout.

Hello, EU SC, possible to sell at RMAH?

No socket, low crit damage, life steal and not LoH...
Nope.

And this is why you should just look yourself, instead of relying on (terrible) advice sometimes given out here. Here is a guide to using the AH:
- THE AUCTION HOUSE GUIDE
Finding items:
- Pick out the main stats of the item ( all resist, vitality, %life, %crit, LOH etc ).
- Select only ONE from dexterity/intellect/strength (nobody needs to mix these stats)
- Reduce the important stats by ~10-50%
- Search!
- If there are no items, or very few, remove affixes from your search - your search is probably too specific.
- If there are still no items to compare to, try reducing the stats further
- Once you are finding roughly similar items, gently refine your search parameters so that you are looking at very similar items
Pricing items:
- Undercut ~equal items:
- If the items are "fresh" (i.e. >1d10 hours left), price at 10% discount
- If the items are "stale" (i.e. <1d10 hours left), price at 25%+ discount
- If in doubt, start your price high (especially with items you think may be best in slot). If your auction does not sell after some hours, gradually reduce price until it does.
This is easy if you set you bid & buyout the same, as it means that you can cancel your auctions and re-list as frequently as you like (you can now cancel auctions as long as no-one has bid on them).

I take it you disagree with my pricing?

Yes. Sorry for being brash, but this thread makes me despair a little as most things here can be easily priced in seconds using the AH itself. If people are afraid of it, don't know how to use it, and don't practice pricing/selling items, they'll never learn! They could be vendoring very valuable items, and wasting time with useless items because, without learning to use the AH, they'll never know.
I keep spamming the guide because I want people to learn how to use the auction house, not beg for advice here; the advice given out here is from people who are: A) guessing B) giving a rough approximation of a suitable price. But how do THEY know what an approximate price is? Why, they learned how to use the auction house, of course! Why not cut out the middle man?
He could probably get 300k - 1m for that I think - it's not a vendor item. EDIT: and the only reason I could give that estimate is because I actually am in-game in diablo right now and looked on the AH.

From day one, it's very obvious to everyone that a lot of these items can be priced without this thread.
It just on a subconscious level this thread is part trophy/show-off, people want to discuss the stuff they've found. There's no way to determine the relevance of the posts, other than to ignore the easily priced items. Chronologically, there SHOULD have been a more prominent thread of 'look at what I just found' (there has to be one around that never gained traction) established first and a more specialized smaller thread discussing pricing.
Honestly, this thread is pretty useless because there's no one around with the knowledge to price the really expensive items - the only advice that can be giving is to place a high b/o and let the bidders determine its worth.

Yep, I roll my eyes every time I see people wondering how much a rare is worth that can easily be figured out with a simple click. Maybe add an instruction how how to use the "RIGHT CLICK - SEARCH FOR SIMILAR"
Circled: + Show Spoiler +

"Search for similar" is actually not that good, though; because it puts in as many stats as it can, the search is often SO specific that you hardly find any items to compare with. By the time you've removed the irrelevant stats, put in the stats that ARE important but didn't make it onto the search (due to too many parameters), and cut down the important stats by ~30%**, you may as well just do it yourself.
**You need to cut down the stats because you may, for example, have an item with: 100 strength 100 vitality
If you search for exactly that, you WON'T see an item that has: 250 strength 90 vitality

Sorry to cause anger to my fellow TLrs for posting low gear item. Still, thank you for the help
P.S. There are other players than the ones with over 10bil item set

I remember selling this for $250 a few months ago, I wonder what its worth now

need some input on this. If I understand this correctly, poison damage is the only damage that would actually work with manticore which would make this quite good?

Look for armour with 11% bonus to elites and +discipline to compare against other SoJ for demon hunters. It doesn't matter how people use the item, all that matters is how it compares to the rest of the market.
If you're interested though, the "Adds 5-6% to X damage" actually increases the PHYSICAL part of your damage by that percentage. Blue posts can be found that confirm that fact, as I was researching it before I bought my own SoJ. Some abilities are physical, some are magical, and it also depends on your weapon; many weapons have cold/fire/lightning etc etc, which would NOT benefit from that stat.
