stride is pretty cool for getting behind a lot of movements and supporting them. i remember stride supporting that one dude behind wherethehellismatt.com and they funded his entire world trip and they stayed out of his way. let him do his own thing. props.

Congratz Nony! Seems like more and more players get solo sponsorship. I hope the trend doesn't go too far though, because I feel like it's better for e-sports sponsoring teams, if you had to choose one or the other.
Great news though, I hope he goes on to win the TSL just to prove himself, as I think he's looking to get some really smashing results in SC2.

Actually I think it is a great concept starting personal sponsoring at such events. This way the sponsors have players hanging out at their booth which will attract more visitors from the MLG-event.
I also think that Old Spice if they still sponsor the event should pick up TLAF-Liquid-Huk since he loves to shower and this even more than once a day. At least that's what he stated in several interviews last year.

I don't understand the financial incentive for companies to sponsor things like this, so I'll just assume the sponsorship is a tiny amount and go with it. It's a catch-22 really; esports won't get big until major sponsors outside of gaming step up, but they won't really step up until esports gets big.

This is great as long as he doesn't chew any whilst playing. I saw a documentary of a psych experiment where people chewed berry to mint gum and subsequently went crazy as a result of the sudden change in taste.
