It seem that starcraft.2com.cn now redirects to battlenet.com.cn, where you can already download the chinese client? Seems like the servers will go live within 4 days?

this is great news.., couldnt be more happier now, considering im bummed out for leaving japan whilst just discovering that there lan parties and minor tourneys here..., but given the situation japans in..., its like the best move for now to move to china for the time being...

Legit software is incredibly hard to buy in China (as well as DVDs. I've never seen a real DVD from 13+ years of living there)... so I guess SC2 over there will be very cheap relative to the US version. Will they get their own BNet server/realm though?

You can get real dvds at carrefour and the likes, but the selection is laughable (for a good reason) :D
As I understand it, it will cost less than 100 Yuan and it will have it's own server. I am d/ling the "beta" (dunno why they call it that) right now.
