Why doesn't Blizzard use iCCup maps???!!! They're awesome maps they incurage macro games and they just look cool.
But well still nice yo see Morrow making a push about the map issue : D
With an average game length of 7m36s over his 6 games in GSL3, this is a no-brainer. BitByBit pulls more SCVs than yo momma at a club on Mar Sara. ♞

Morrow has self-respect, which is why he plays zerg.
I totally agree, if i wanted to play sim city, i'd get simcity.

I think if there is anyone who can comment on the ZvT with any amount of unbiased perspective it would be Morrow. As he has played both races close to the top.

A top player, playing both races, then making comments about the races obviously doesn't know what he's talking about unless he says something I agree with.

This was a great interview thank you!

also I think morrow is better with zerg then he was with T but that is just IMO. I dont think the maps we have now are that bad though the only ones I dont like are delta and steppes (I play T BTW)

as a spectator i like zerg very much, but as a player i hate it. I lose nearly all my PvZ matches -.-

i´m looking forward to the huk-interview incoming later on today, lets see what he as an protoss says about the maps xD

morrow is a cool guy. maps are whats needed, but its challenging developing them. we have the new gsl maps and even our own iccup and motm maps rising up. we just need people/tourneys to start using them. glad hes liking the switch to zerg ^^

The thing is that both GSL and iCCup are changing their maps "on the go" if some bad thing is discovered; Blizzard does not do that. This is the problem IMO ...

What do you think: Which nation is the strongest in European StarCraft II?

MorroW: In Europe it's Sweden and Ukraine I guess.

What about Germany?

MorroW: Germany is great of course, but Sweden has a lot of good players that are established and also many up-and-coming players, so I have to say Sweden.

I'm very impressed with how good Morrow is with zerg now. I can still remember when people thought Morrow could not be as good as he was with Terran. Mad props to him.

Would love to see Blizzard implement higher quality maps but MorroW is right in that they'd have to look at rebalancing the game for bigger maps... which is something I can't imagine Blizzard will do well

Just wait for the return of Mondragon. He will be our Savior!!! :D

Since he was involved in this matchifxing story i am not sure what to think about him.
At least he is one of the players that like to give Interviews and share his thoughts about the current state of the game. I have to admit i enjoyed reading the interview...

TLO, socke, insolence, darkforce, goody, hasuobs all consistently strong players, I would say germany and sweden are on a similar level overall.

The matchfixing story wasn't so much a story as a big nothing, seeing as an admin had given his approval after they requested to be able to leave WO and/or drop games in the finals.

I think Germany has as many up-and-coming players as Sweden, but the top players of Sweden are definitely better now (Jinro, Morrow, Sjow, Naniwa, Haypro vs TLO, Socke, Goody, Darkforce).

http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=178790

something blown out of proportion - they asked a tournament admin if they could give credit for wins to the other player after winning a game because morrow or sjow would need 11/16? finals wins to actually win the really nice computer up as a prize, and both he and sjow didn't expect to dominate the other player by such a wide margin. They asked the admin if it was fine if, after playing the game normally, if it was possible to give the credit for the victory to the other player.

the tournament admin said it was fine but it got published as a "scandal" before it ever happened. The tournament host also was contacted by the person who published the story and spoke against the plan. After getting to the tournament, the players aborted the plan, and I believe one of them dropped out of the tournament series entirely, and the other went on to win the prize?

Also, irrelevant to the topic at hand.
