let him focus on nothing but the game and getting better at it in korea, then we'll see how he rolls. frankly, i don't think he showed even 2/3 of what he could possibly do with full time practice with good partners even at the height of his game before now. but we'll see how he handles korea if he gets there, after all the conditions these guys practice in and the partners they have available is what makes or breaks them on that scene (not everybody has the chance to practice with ogs in a big house). that assuming they're able to handle the practice requirements and social sacrifices without hurting themselves like tlo did

If he goes he's going to experience pretty much what Huk or Jinro have, which is great improvement.

Anyway, I'm sure that he's seeing the summer as an opportunity to see how far his SC2 can go, while he doesn't have school to worry about, while also getting to live in a foreign country without spending tons of money. Sounds like a great plan, and I hope he does well in GSL. I'd love to see more foreigners proving themselves there.

(if he goes) I keep hearing that's he been really busy with school and such, and yet he's still really, really good. He's going to be scary good once he's done with school. ;;

For sake of argument let's say you got into Stanford or the prestigious university of your choice. OK you got into the one of the top 3 of all time. That doesn't mean that you're in school 12 months a year. There will be downtime - and what would you be doing during that downtime? Attending the GSL in the hopes of winning a nice prize? Sounds good to me.
