Depending on the liberties taken you have to call it a "translation" then. If Stork would phrase things the way it was "translated" here, I would lose all my respect for him.

Looks like you're getting criticisms for taking liberties to make the smacktalk more hyped, but I understand. During interviews, I have to resist the crazy urge to make those boring players sound more interesting and cocky; only Flash really seems truly cocky (in a good way) in his interviews. I guess some people don't like the way you added your own touch because it doesn't look "professional", but hey, when you're the translator, you get to twist the words into whatever you want. ;P I'd say that tweaking a few words here and there in this context is okay, since it's smacktalk, after all.

Anyway, I'll be cheering for both players, and disappointed with whoever loses. And looks like Fantasy got a hold of Flash first, ahahahah that Jung Laden has fast reflexes, yes! Thanks for the translation! (Much thanks to you too, infinitestory.)

IMHO translations ought to be done professionally. It kinda ruins it when there's skewing, especially if it's only one side of the translations being done that way. And if a translator feels like getting creative then the translation should go in Blogs.

Has anyone else noticed how Coach Park didn't even mention any of the other players?

"Yeah, FanTaSy keeps this team together despite how Bisu just got 2 AK's and a ton of kills. Nothing big."

Ah well, I suppose that it's only natural to build up your OSL finals player, right? Look at Jan, she might have a point about saying that Stork's the one who glues his team together but in reality there are some decent players (JangBi) but their current record isn't that decent right now.

Im trying to get into the BW pro scene. Can anyone tell me what the Kong Line is and what does Fantasy mean by leaving it?

Oh nice, coach interviews added. Have to disagree with coach Park on the tvp issue though, since feb 24th last year flash is 29-6 vP with losses only to snow, free, kal, and best. On the other hand, fantasy has lost to movie, violet, tyson, and jaehoon just in the last 2 months. Still, I think both players have a good chance at winning and I'm looking forward to the finals!

The Kong line is made up of people who get to OSL/MSL finals but lose, it's named after Yellow (Hong Jin Ho) who famously went 0-5 in finals. Stork lost in so many finals that he's still in it despite winning one, and fantasy also has been to multiple finals but never won.

Flash said in an interview after the semifinals that if Stork contacted him first, he'd practice with him, but if Fantasy contacted him first, he wouldn't practice with Stork. So I guess Fanta called 1st.

I'm actually rooting for stork in this one. First time... would only happen when the stars align and the earth shakes, I would root for any player that has the chance to stop Fantasy from taking a gold.

Kong Line: First, you have to know who this infamous "Kong" is. "Kong" is the nickname of Hong Jinho, aka Yellow who is on the team KT Rolster and recently got discharged from the air force (he also played on the team Air Force ACE). Whenever another player starts to rack up a lot of silvers, people then say that they are officially a member of the "Kong Line", or "Silver Surfer Club". It is definitely not a good thing to be a member in the Kong Line, so the finals may decide who breaks out of it.

Hope you get even more into BW after learning this interesting tidbit of info; BW has a lot more fun trivia like this!

In fact, go look up the "Kong Dance" on Youtube right now. It is mandatory for all Starcraft fans out there.
