Key to not burning pancakes:

-Use some vegetable/cooking oil to lubricate the pan (not butter - it burns at too low of a temperature).
-Cook for more time on a lower heat. This will result in a more evenly cooked pancake, whereas if you just "flash" cook it at very high heats it might not be as done in the middle.
-if you've lubricated the pan well enough, you can actually flip the pancake. you'll know it's ready to flip once you do like 3-4 of them.

I don't see why people think the living conditions are bad. What do you need extra space for? These players are either going to be sitting at their computer, sitting at the dinner table, sleeping or using the bathroom. Extra space just means more walking in between those things.

Aha, July is SO excited for those pancakes.

I also like seeing the pro gamers in their normal lives, instead of some manufactured environment/situation which is what we usually get.
