G4TV sat down with members of Team Liquid while at MLG Dallas, featuring MLG Champion Jinro, TLO, and HuK. It's really awesome to see that the main stream media is following Starcraft 2 and MLG, especially since G4 has never covered MLGs previous to the Dallas event.
Here's a link to the article, also added the rest of the interviews:

Jonathan "Liquid`Jinro" Walsh
Congratulations on your win at MLG Dallas! It feels like it's been long overdue to see one of the more "unknown" members of Team Liquid do so well.
It's exciting of course. I've been in Korea for a while now, so I feel like it's about time. The Koreans, they all wanted me to win for them.
How much has your practice in Korea helped you prepare for this tournament over playing on NA or EU servers?
Oh, it helped a lot! There are so many good players for high level practice and games. But general practice helped a ton for improving my game.
Do you plan to participate in the highly revered Global Starcraft League season 3 tournament? Do you plan to participate in DreamHack?
I'll be in Korea for another year so I plan on participating in GSL 3. Unfortunately DreamHack coincides with GSL so I can't make it.
What's it like living in Korea as a foreigner?
It's nice. Very friendly country. They have a lot of high tech and furutistic things that are cool. Also, if you're drunk you can have someone drive your car home for you which is something we don't have here (laughs).
Do you ever practice with oGsNada?
Yes. He really helped me prepare. One of the rounds at the GSL he actually thanked me at the end, I was so happy! He's the nicest guy, very humble.
Is there any particular match you like to play best? Terran v. Terran, Terran v. Zerg, Terran v. Protoss?
I'd say TvT. It was Protoss, but at this tournament they were tough.
Is the Korean scene that much far ahead of the NA or EU scene in SC2?
It is and it isn't. There are more players in Korea that are really good. But, there are not that many people that are way ahead in terms of skill.
Who was your toughest opponent at MLG Dallas?
I'd have to say TT1 since he's in the finals with me. But other than that, I think because of his playstyle, IdrA would have been the toughest match for me. PainUser was also really good.
Any other comments?
I'd like to thank my sponsors. The Little App Factory for bringing me here, bringing me there to Korea, and letting me live the gamer's life! Team Liquid, and thanks to my fans too.
Please support SC2, TL, and Esports on G4TV's website to further the growth of our community! G4TV also wrote a Recap on MLG Dallas.

Dario "Liquid`TLO" Wünsch
What do you think about your first MLG experience?
I'm excited to be here, there are lots of fans. I'm very pleased with how well I did.
I heard you're moving back to Germany from Korea, any particular reason?
For the beer! (laughs)
There were a lot of upsets in this tournament, who surprised you the most?
Jinro surprised me the most.
Did you ever have any particular practice partners from the oGs team that you practiced with before this tournament?
No, I don't have just one particular practice partner. We actually have to practice against each person in the house every day.
Since joining TeamLiquid your popularity has skyrocketed. Were you surprised you had so many fans at this American tournament?
I am! Especially here I get asked for a lot of pictures and autographs. But it was worse at Blizzcon. I couldn't move five feet without someone approaching me. I had to wear my hoodie up some of the time just to move (laughs).
What do you think the hardest match of this tournament was for you?
Well I guess I'd have to say my PainUser matches because they knocked me out of the tournament.
Any last comments?
I'd like to thank my sponsors, fans, and let my family and friends know I will be home soon!

Chris "Liquid`HuK" Loranger
You seem to be a huge fan favorite at MLGs, are you going to miss them when you move to Korea?
Yeah. But I'm hoping to make up for it with Korean fans. And then I have my three or four teammates there so it's all good.
I heard you'll be taking TLO's place in Korea, do you guys ever practice against each other?
Yeah we practiced. We're practice partners so he helped me prepare for this.
Are you signed up for GSL 3? It's an exciting time in SC2, do you expect to do well or is it more of a learning experience?
Yeah. I plan to attend GSL 3 and am expecting to do well. I want to be in the top. I hope to get S class for the 2011 GSL but it's really tough.
Do you think Jinro benefited a lot from practicing in Korea? How long do you think it will take the rest of the world to catch up?
Yeah, obviously he benefited a ton. He was already a great player before he went there. A lot of talent. Hopefully the rest of the world can catch up. As time goes on I think it will be more common for foreigners to go to Korea and play.
Did you ever try to mothership rush in this tournament? You were quite notorious for it since MLG D.C.
No not this time, but everyone has been asking me about that. I think four people have already asked me about that (laughs).
Any other comments?
I want to thank TeamLiquid.net, and the Little App Factory.
Check out the article on G4TV.com!
Additionally, it's great to see that PCWorld is also covering SC2/MLG. The mainstream media is beginning to take a liking to SC2!

congrats. havent seen jinro play in forever (:

Wow, that's spectacular. I hope g4 really starts ramping up their sc2 related stuff. thanks for this

I saw the G4 blogger there interviewing them. Congrats on the great coverage, TL!

I wouldn't say G4 is exactly mainstream, but hey this is a damn good start.

Congrats again Jinro and good luck with the GSL S3 qualifiers!

Very nice and professional interview thanks for doing this. And hell yeah Frozen Arbiter Its about time !!!!!

Wow, very cool. I actually enjoy some of the shows on G4, even though it just got taken off direcTV..

HA! I'm in the picture in the wrap up. I'm the jackass in the ugly ass blue/red hoodie laying down in the front

jinro ftw. but no gsl 3 =(

Very awesome that G4 is picking up SC2 more. Hopefully this will help progress SC2 as an esport even more in the US! :D

Exactly. Half of the programming isn't even related to gaming. Imagine if G4 broadcasted a north american version of the GSL. Obviously it wouldn't be near the scale of the Gom league but I for one would actually watch the channel at least. As of right now it's only good for ogling Olivia Munn.
Also cool interview.

Gotta' watch reruns of Ninja Warrior every once in a while too.

so happy for jinro. he's been getting bad luck in the gsl so it's good to see him finally break out.

grats jinro! too bad you wont come to DH. glhf in gsl3

lol so much fact
TechTV used to be good, after the buyout it was still pretty good but over time it's clear there was no plan to sustain the channel. Aside from AotS (which has been dying the past year) they really don't have much left. X-Play was the only original show left but they raped it of everything that made it entertaining/watchable. (Seriously, go watch old TechTV X-Plays. Gold entertainment, the actual reviews are just extra)

is there any reason why TLO is going back to germany ? I thought he was gonna stay in Korea muuuch much longer :O

Hey this is Leah (authored this article). I just wanted to say thanks for posting/stickying this! Wow! Grats to Jinro and Team Liquid again.

GL in GSL3 HuK, and congrats on Dallas Jinro! =D
|
I love HuK, but I don't think he'll be able to make S class in GSL 3 unless he improves by leaps and bounds. In the last few weeks, he's made some really big strides forward, but I'm not sure if he'll be able to step up that pace while simultaneously getting used to a new country. Of course, I'd love to be proven wrong! HuK fighting!
|
Grats to Jinro! He really deserved it.
|
Hope HuK can get S class!

Do gamers really like cops that much? I personally can't stand that show. I don't know whoever runs that channel is thinking.

gratz to teamliquid! and jinro for the win! your livestream channel during the beta helped me improve a lot so big thanks to you and well deserved win!
|
finally a big achievement for Jinro Here's hoping it's only the first in a long series!
|
Huk getting S-class would be an amazing feat. Actually, any foreigner getting into ro8 would be amazing. I doubt it will happen this season even though more foreigners are joining, please prove me wrong.
|
I've been a fan of Jinro since the beta, I always felt that he was underestimated. and HuK going for S-class, this is good stuff.

great bunch of guys

Thanks for the cool interview! But maaaaaan ,why is TLO coming back?? He should have stayed for the last qualifier too!
|

Somehow, after initial hopefullness, I fear none of the foreigners will do anything in SC2. I hope I'm proven wrong but atm I'm under the impression that Koreans are just in a much better position to do well.
I'm almost convinced IdrA won't ever do anything big because of his stiff mentality. Nony is married so I doubt he can dedicate enough, especially when kids start popping up. TLO is already going back to Germany which means less progress for him. I have no idea how good Jinro and Huk really are macrowise which will be huge once SC1 pros start transitioning more.
My faith is still with Ret tho, I think he might have what it takes.
Too bad people like Draco, Mondragon, Testie and others don't play.

Some transcription errors in this one, Im guessing because I wasnt speaking very clearly (my lips were completely broken from spending 20 hours under an Air-con, making it kinda hard to articulate things tt).
EX: I helped NaDa prepare for GSL, not vice-versa And he thanked me in the post game interivew. The which race is toughest question, I meant to say Terran had been tough this time around but its a bit awkwardly worded by me.
Completely my fault for not being clear about these tho =]

Keep the faith, Liquid Fighting!!
I loved Jinro's play in this tournament, such solid decision making. PainUser and TT1's play just seemed to have been well advanced from what I've previously seen of them.
Congratulations to Jinro, bring the pain in the GSL S3!
|
so, tlo not going in korea for gsl3? does he plan to get back in korean after this? .. plz answer
|
I really hope that winning MLG was some sign of better luck for Jinro, and that he will finaly qualifiy for GSL 3, because if someone deserves to get a shot at it, then it's him. Especialy now when TLO is getting back home, it would be more then important for TL community, that we get Jinro to represent it. Considering that GSL is getting stronger and stronger, last codes S will probably be very hard to get, but i wish Jinro luck for at least RO 32 if he qualifies, and shot at code A. Please catch last train
|
so happy to see Jinro raping face hes so so underrated its not funny, when you can nuke the whole freaking Team Liquid in a FFA? dude that just screams baller but then to carry it on and start nuking EVERYONE? how do people not love this kid.
TL fighting !!!!!! such a baller squad <3

Foreginers won't pwn Korean with THAT attitude =)
Draco and Mondragon(<3) do play sc2(Testie plays HoN), they are in top 200 EU ladder, but they don't play any tournaments -,-' they need to stop slack

Bummer to hear about TLO. However, I understand why he wanted out. Sleeping in the same room with 7 other dudes has to be rough. You can forget about having women over. Also, pro starcraft is not a life long career for people who aren't Boxer.
I hope we still get to see him play in future tourneys. His switch to zerg is exciting!

Darn Jinro I was hoping to see you in person at Dreamhack! Well Hope you'll kick some butt in GSL 3

not to be rude but I think teamliquid.net gets more traffic than g4tv articles. Not to mention directtv dropped G4.
So I wouldn't call it mainstream or noteworthy.
Still interesting to see a gaming channel such as G4 actually covering something gaming related.

Congrats to all the TL guys, it was a privilege to meet the team in person.

Thanks for the interviews... congrats Jinro!!

Great interviews, good to see this is going G4! SpiNN ftw (it rhymes)

Im gonna have to buy a GSL season 3 ticket to see all the great players going into it.
