I really do believe that GSL 3 will bet the tits.

I think he can too, however, Tester failed to qualify for GSL2, and GSL3 is going to have a lot of good players trying to qualify. Lots of top foreigners too. Sen, Huk, TLO, Artosis, Sjow, Select, Jinro, Idra. Maybe some others I forgot. Select plays in the NA server but his actually korean. But he lives in the US He's basically a reverse IdrA.
lol so he's a really well mannered guy who never practices and has all kinds of wacky creative builds?
.... .... ?

Oh man, if all of the foreigners qualified; Sen, Huk, Sjow, Select, etc. along with returning dudes like Idra, Tester, TLO, etc., my god. We could end up with Blizzcon-esque brackets.
GSL is evolving right before our eyes every season into increasing levels of awesome.

Select is a Korean citizen. Seriously, think about what it means to be a "foreigner". From the Korean perspective it is quite literally anyone who is not Korean, foreign to Korea. He's not Korean-American, his English is not great, though I'm not sure how long he has been in the U.S.

I feel like either a whole lot of foreigners will qualify this time, due to sheer numbers, or only 1-2 will qualify again because of the greater skill saturation. Hoping for the former, but expecting the latter. Think of how much it would suck if Jinro, Haypro didn't qualify after 2-3 tries, or HuK/ret/etc. didn't in the last Open right after coming. Bad times..
Whoops double post GL JINRO

Am I wrong in thinking that Sen IS Softball? If I'm wrong then who is Softball i know its a moniker for someone big...
Edit: I am now 95% sure they are the same...

Sen's using softballs account to play on the us server i think
Sen and Softball were the two taiwanese participants at blizzcon, so they definately are different persons :D

lol jinro's like only sc and wc3 wcgs count >=] wooooooooooo more high level zerg and more foreigners! win win!
|
This is good news, we got tons of new foreigners coming in. Lets not forget Select, Huk and Ret as well. Still waiting for some other top Europeans to go though. White-Ra probably won't go since hes married but guys like Morrow and Dimaga should definitely give it a shot. Nony should also be going once he finishes his studies. Hopefully they will still have GSL then. Also gl to Jinro and Haypro in the next qualifiers, hope they make it!
