I really do believe that GSL 3 qualifiers will be a lot harder than GSL 2's.

I think he can too, however, Tester failed to qualify for GSL2, and GSL3 is going to have a lot of good players trying to qualify. Lots of top foreigners too. Sen, Huk, TLO, Artosis, Sjow, Select, Jinro, Idra. Maybe some others I forgot.

Select plays in the NA server but his actually korean.

But he lives in the US

He's basically a reverse IdrA.

lol so he's a really well mannered guy who never practices and has all kinds of wacky creative builds?

I searched Taiwanese websites and found no news regarding to it.

Also all 'simplified chinese' websites (ie/ Chinese websites) are copy pasting the same excerpt..

So base on above, I wouldn't consider this as reliable news until further info are annouced... :-/

EDIT:

After further research I have found 2 website mentioned about 3 Taiwanese player (Sen, Softball and Dus) will be participating GSL Search 3:

他們兩位加上台灣另一位神族高手Dus。也已決定攜手參加GSL第三季賽事,繼續挑戰巔峰,也希望台灣所有的星海玩家,一起再度為台灣選手加油!

Besides those two (T/N: Sen and SoftBall), another protoss player Dus have confirmed to be participating in GSL Search 3 to challenge the impossible and to inspire Taiwanese StarCraft players.

Sen will show fruitdealer whos boss.

yes im serious. FDealer is over rated. Hes not "light years ahead by any means. Hes up there with IdrA and Sen. Now those "three" are far ahead of everyone else.

Oh man, if all of the foreigners qualified; Sen, Huk, Sjow, Select, etc. along with returning dudes like Idra, Tester, TLO, etc., my god. We could end up with Blizzcon-esque brackets.

GSL is evolving right before our eyes every season into increasing levels of awesome.

Select is a Korean citizen. Seriously, think about what it means to be a "foreigner". From the Korean perspective it is quite literally anyone who is not Korean, foreign to Korea. He's not Korean-American, his English is not great, though I'm not sure how long he has been in the U.S.

I feel like either a whole lot of foreigners will qualify this time, due to sheer numbers, or only 1-2 will qualify again because of the greater skill saturation. Hoping for the former, but expecting the latter. Think of how much it would suck if Jinro, Haypro didn't qualify after 2-3 tries, or HuK/ret/etc. didn't in the last Open right after coming. Bad times..

Sen's using softballs account to play on the us server i think

Sen and Softball were the two taiwanese participants at blizzcon, so they definately are different persons :D

This is good news, we got tons of new foreigners coming in. Lets not forget Select, Huk and Ret as well. Still waiting for some other top Europeans to go though. White-Ra probably won't go since hes married but guys like Morrow and Dimaga should definitely give it a shot. Nony should also be going once he finishes his studies. Hopefully they will still have GSL then. Also gl to Jinro and Haypro in the next qualifiers, hope they make it!
Hope is the first step on the road to dissapointment
