Gillette and Panasonic were in similar positions when they decided to sponsor the Ongamenet Starleague for Brood War years back. Gillette was the last foreign OSL sponsor in 2004, Pringles was the last foreign MSL sponsor in 2006. as far as i know Arena was the last foreign MSL sponsor in 2008 :p
haha I didn't know Arena wasn't Korean
I've NEVER seen it in the united states

Sony Ericsson does not care 2 cents about what Sony wants

I have the same Sony Ericsson model Bond has in Casino Royal (bought it before!) and I love it, especially how they stuck with the brick-model instead of the one you open and close, prefer it.
And Sony Ericsson has as much to do with PS3(Sony) as it has to do with building Radio towers(Ericsson).
Which is to say nothing.

winner may get a brand new shiny xperia x10 lol

Isn't Galaxy a Sony Ericsson phone? Cause that looked pretty cool to me. With Android I believe. If I hadn't just bought a HTC mobile, I would probably have looked to that one.
I do wonder what happened with Intel. They withdrew, or did SOny Ericsson overbid? Can't have 2 main sponsors? Don't know much about how those things work.

Galaxy should be a Samsung phone. AFAIK, the Xperia X10 series is only Sony Ericsson line to have android.
SE probably overbid Intel for the main sponsor. If they allow everyone to have their name on the GSL, it'll get too long.

First good thing that has come out of Sony Ericsson in yearsXD

i would imagine with the full backing of blizzard, gretech/gom will have no issues securing big name sponsors.
The exposure for such companies is worth more than money.... brand recognition is the key to survival these days.
My shiny new SE X10 android phone is coming next week! yay! And yes u can watch the VODs on it
