1st. There is not such a measurement as "the city" in terms of IP. It has only IP's, ISP range etc. So assuming that we banned the whole city is pretty weird. 2nd. When we applying such a strict measurments as banning ISP (only me//chelo//yelloant have the authority to do so) we firstly check the number of users this ISP have. If we have more then a dozen of active users using this range - we are trying to find another solution. This exact ip range had 10 active users, so only 10 users were affected. 1 of them is a person responsible for this, one is the op, which i thinks deserved this ban also. two out of 8 remaing ppl contacted us, we were able to unban one of them. Now you can still dispute whether the tear of a child worth all the good in the whole world. 3rd. this is a temp ban, for a few weeks. As i remember noone cried when Telia Network "accidently" blocked access to iccup for almost the half of poland for 1 month(?) i think 4th. we ofc can use e.g. a cd key ban or some other ban features, but ipban is the best, since not everyone can just avoid it. 5th. it will be great if TL start their server, so all those retarded idiots from us east leaved us for the good. I think we will be able to just autoredirrect evryone from US to their server.. Its a shame yelloant denied the proposal of moving server to korea and making it korea citizens only :-D 6th we really don't care about anything. Well, not sure about yelloant, but i don't definatelly. We made evrth possible to bring you a competitive server, but you all just whining all the time, so we lost motivation for self-improvement. Without a real competitor we started to set up some goals on our own, which were pretty easily achived (like 3 000 users online ). But what is this for? community don't need it, so we don't want to spent our time for nothing also. All you want is just whine. whine about admin solving your complaint for three days instead of a nanosecond, whine about the fact admin didn't give you 30 pts cuz of motw change, whine about some system flaws. Some users even describes some non-existing stories about admin banning someone for 4 pool game(are u seriously beliving this lol). But noone tries to help to make it better (well, someone does, but this is just a few over thousands), all just whine, so at some point i just stopped bothering. You may hate me, my attitute, whatever, but if you at some point ejoyed our work - iccup, we are even. whatever, this is just random thoughts, i will sum them up in sum time and will blog it ^_^ p.s. you may change the thread to smth like iccup banning not just cities but countries, since i just banned zimbabwe. | ||

I assumed it was a citywide ban since I saw how the first map abuse incident was dealt with on admin forum. Unless my eyes were really really fucked up I'm sure I saw cheloman post that their entire city was ipbanned and they'd have to take a bus out to play on iCCup | ||

So I don't deserve this nor I don't know how you think I deserve this, you only want to nit pick what I said and not look at the entire picture. You basically told me you would PROBABLY unban me/you didn't care/wait 2 weeks/why not?, how would you like me to react? I didn't just get banned and started whining bitching and going crazy on the first day that it happened. Your opinion on this community is a complete joke, seriously i'm ashamed that people even have to read your replies and that I'm actually in a community with you in it, you're suppose to be some1 that helps keep the community going because you run the #1 online server. As for bitching about points and what not that's going to happen when you're running a huge ladder, people aren't going to suck your small dick just because you run a server, you help people fix problems, that's what you're suppose to do. You need to fucking look at your life, I don't know why you're such a big asshole. Your posts make my eyes bleed and I'm completely disgusted that you and can actually say that shit so easily when you're suppose to be helping people and caring for the community, not destroying it or making people suffer over dumb shit. | ||

i made severqal attempts offering help but it was a real pain in the ass to even contact one of you. all i got then was stuff like "no, we dont want". very constructive. also i would like to add that i like icc and never had any problem with an admin or something else. but also i never cared about points so maybe i dont get so much in contact with hard decisions. | ||

I remember there was a thread on here a few months back about ICCup to which you replied with stuff that was completely irrelevant and sarcastic, similar to this instance until your last post. Saying you don't care about anything because of people complaining to your staff is the most absurd thing I have ever read. Why reply in the thread and to people with a bunch of fluff and then come in and try to make a serious post? Why not make ICCup the best it can be even though you have no real competition? | ||

Later me and other guy played finals and I technically won the tourney 2:0 but there was so much shit going on with the other players for 4-5 hours one match got stuck so I could not report the games and the guy who hosted it was long since offline. I had asked an admin for help and it tried to get a tourney admin in but it was 6-9 in the morning and I had played/mostly waited around 7-8 hours since tourney actually started. And so okey first it's we can't do anything about it "at the moment" and the next day there where 6-7 admins and he just says I told you yesterday, we can't do anything about it. So I immediately was like fuck it I guess public tourneys don't have price money anyway I don't want 1000 points and so I forgot the whole thing and went off gaming but it's just annoying to give me the illusion you can help me just not now and then not at all. For the record I don't have anything against/a grudge with any of the admins, just doing a litle rant because It was a rather stressful/annoying experience. | ||
