Coaching football at even the high school level is not that easy to break into. Every coach I ever met has played the game at the college level, or has a degree in physical education and has been a coaching assistant to a more established coach for a long time. I have been to coaching clinics before and coaching football its really not something anyone can do just for some extra cash lol. In my experience gym teachers gobble up a lot of the coaching positions such as football. At my school, the janitor is one of the two football coaches.

I know most high school coachs are ex college players or take a coaching job after they already graduate with a physical education degree. I started coaching junior all american at 16, did pretty well there then was invited to coach the freshman when I was 20(first year of highschool coaching went 7-4) and now I coach JV. I never said I was Varisty coach lol. [edit] I played all 4 years of highschool and 1 year of community. I basically got to busy with other things and playing football at that level takes alot of time. Coaching and helping others find themselves has always been a passion of mine. ![]() [edit] yes i will have that mans job in 2-3 years :p

When I say I sit on my ass a lot, its couse what they tell me to :D I try to ask as many questions as possible about things that can go wrong, what do you do if this happens, how do you deal with that etc, but you kind of need to see and do it yourself to actually learn something, since the factory is fucking huge and you cant tell what valves goes where etc. Yeah, well I said that because you made it sound like you did nothing, and you weren't thinking on learning shit either so. Anyways, that's the best you can do, ask questions and hope that something doesn't go wrong, and if you ask questions, hope that those answers help you in a time where you really need to know your stuff. Good Luck with it man, Seriously. ![]()
