Yes because they care about your English skills. I don't think people are here to lie lol. I work at NASA Ames Research Center in the Reactive Flow Environments Branch. I work on the third fastest supercomputer in the world (http://www.nas.nasa.gov/News/Releases/2004/11_08_04_fastest.html) doing simulations for space missions, mainly working on the CEV (crew exploration vehicle) aka Project Orion which is replacing the Space Shuttle which has less than a year left. Just finished up big amount of work for the MSL (Mars Science Laboratory). We specialize in ablative TPS (Thermal protection system) aka heat shields.
edit: that article is old before computer was upgraded again in 2008, still in top 5 worldwide.

Apparently jokes aren't allowed on the internet? Straw man. Jokes must be funny. Eh well the thing was it was a joking reply of what I actually do for work. 'Twas hardly in bad taste either. Not that its a big deal, just surprising how something like that is so heavily moderated when someone who says "I work the corner" is still there. I haven't really been following but it looks like a lot of posts were removed... and I doubt they systematically double checked every post to make sure there were no dumb ones left on any other page in this thread. Don't take it personally... and I also was just being silly and didn't actually read your deleted post.

If this is what hes asking for? O_o How did you get into coaching at such a young age btw? I know most high school coachs are ex college players or take a coaching job after they already graduate with a physical education degree. Most high school coaches are teachers who want extra $$$ or to participate in the school culture. Show nested quote +On June 28 2009 05:44 leetchaos wrote: My post was deleted. Coaching football at even the high school level is not that easy to break into. Every coach I ever met has played the game at the college level, or has a degree in physical education and has been a coaching assistant to a more established coach for a long time. I have been to coaching clinics before and coaching football its really not something anyone can do just for some extra cash lol.

In the states you're absolutely right, but it depends on where you are. Even up in Canada, high school coaches are just doing it because they love the game, not because it's a career path. Don't get me wrong, the CFL and NFL are very popular here, but it's not that hard to get into. For example, the coach at my high school, which was actually a pretty decent team and has went to provincial championships, was just the Phys. Ed. teacher doing it casually. It's mainly just the states that football is a huge thing like that.
