Lebron tries to work his way in, flips up shot, Kwame Brown tries to rebound, bounces off, but he secures it right after. Detroit works it inside to him when he's standing right under the basket, he can't secure it, turnover. 1/4 in grabbing the ball in less than a minute.

Boston is still the favorite against them (just look at the Box Score) as really - it was Derrick Rose taking 12 FTs and his spectacular night + Pierce and Allen choking that did them in. On the other hand, this game shows why everyone has been praising Rondo since last year. Orlando beating the Celtics in 4 or 5 games is a very long shot to happen. Very. Most people don't even have Orlando favored against Boston without KG. I still have no faith in Orlando. And sighhhhhhh... + Show Spoiler + Rondo is a top pg now

Barea playing inspired vs the spurs bench. Duncan back in, pick and rolls to the rim. Kidd not back in vs parker. Mavs living off the pick and roll with Barea, with Dampier cleaning up misses from guard penetration. Spurs need better help defense to backup Duncan or to figure out a way to contain Barea better. Kidd back in, let's see how that affects things. Actually, Kidd and Barea back in. Kidd with a steal off a sloppy no look from mason to duncan. Dampier doing a great job meeting parker off drives, and of course Duncan hasn't been able to alley oop to punish that for years.. Mavs clinch it. Mavs win with their D, with Barea stopping parker.

Yao not being fronted, blocks shot at other end. Yao draws another foul and sinks it, his high % shooting range for a center is amazing. Yao fouls Roy (artest beaten), artest then shuts down roy when he gets the ball back, 24s. Next Portland possession, Portland miss, but cleaned up by Aldridge (i think). Yao can't get those athletic rebounds. Yao with 9 of 11 points, hasn't missed. Timeout, maybe Portland will give up on not fronting him 3:23 minutes into the playoffs. Artest slow off the screen against Roy... Yao tackled by Fernandez and is called for a questionable blocking call. Yao has 24 at the half, he certainly always has the potential to get 50 but Switched to aldridge on brooks, blake probably on battier. If Roy can't score, then the Blazers second best option is aldridge. Blake can't do anything vs Brooks, Blazers center can get some off some nice passes, but certainly can't match Yao. Mutombo outplayed Oden earlier. Oden also fouled Yao early when he beat him baseline, but Yao's probably more likely to miss a dunk then miss a free throw. Blazers probably can't win this game and Yao won't be perfect for the entire series. Blazers have to start playing some playoff D and use fastbreaks to run Yao off the floor. Roy's playing really well, Artest can't seem to keep up off of screens.
