I actually thought they did alot better with this movie than they have with most others that are based on books. It did its best to emphasize the good parts of the book even though it couldn't exactly capture the feeling the books give without changing too much. (If you actually read the books then you would realize how hard it is to portray what the author wanted through cinema, especially the acting and look of the vampires) | ||

so.... Is it worth reading? Not if you have testicles or a developed frontal lobe. You're better off reading the plethora of good mature non-romance sci-fi or fantasy out there.... just my opinionated 2 cents | ||
